Re: So what is latest on our prospects of landing Mr. North??

I have been really high on our chances with North but it seems of late he has started leaning back towards Tennessee. It seems all i see on twitter is him replying to Tenn fans or retweeting them, maybe that's because UNC fans aren't talking to him but it is still disconcerting. I know he has a lot more connections to UNC, whether it being hs teammates, friends, or family members. Hopefully Brewer and Fedora can close the deal on him but I know Butch jones has made him the main priority for the volunteers.

North has been THE priority at WR for UNC since August. Saying that Tennessee wins out because Butch Jones decided to make North an important target is a little much.

Fans will be fans, and Twitter is a nice place for a kid to receive all kinds of attention. North has been tweeting with other UNC commitments in addition to Tennessee fans, so I'm not concerned about him feeling unloved by UNC.

He has to make the decision that's best for him. Recruiting is a messy business, and when you miss on a kid that can be a game changer, it hurts. North is in a can't lose scenario here, and has two good programs who both envision great things for him. It's going to come down to who made him feel the most comfortable during the process, and right now Tennessee has the upper hand. Signing Day is now less than a month away, and this battle won't be won until North makes his visits.

Tennesse got a 4* WR Committment either yesterday or today from Clemson I think his name is Ryan Jenkins.

If so, then I think Clemson will put pressure on North instead of Tennessee. Regardless, it's going to be tough to get North the whole time he remains uncommitted.
