Could Sly be drafted before Gio and Coop?
Aren't mock drafts fun? They are all over the place. I've read mocks where Sly, Gio, and Coop go in the first and I've read drafts where neither of them go in the first. Some have Sly going before Gio. The most common pick for Gio is Atlanta which seems logical and a bit exciting since we could see him watch him at least twice a year. The draft is almost four months away so a lot can change once the bowl season is over and combines start but it's fun reading for now. Coop to San Fran www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mockSly to Houston; Gio to Atlanta www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draf...-nfl-mock-draftCoop to St Louis; Gio to Atlanta; Sly to GB in the 2nd www.drafttek.com/2013-nfl-mock-draft-round1.aspGio to Atlanta www.mockdrafthq.com/2013/01/20...on-edition.htmlNo Heels in the 1st bleacherreport.com/articles/14...nal-draft-orderSly to Minnesota; Gio to Cincy; Coop to Indy. All in the 1st. www.draftsite.com/nfl/mock-draft/2013/I read another report with Sly going to Dallas in the 1st but can't find it now. Enjoy. EDIT: I forgot to expand on my original thought. Gio and Coop have received the most attention and awards. Sly had a wonderful season for the Heels. Wish him much success. I guess I was a bit surprised to see him projected higher on some draft boards than Gio or Coop.

Turner is garbage. I don't think it's a good fit necessarily because of the high percentage of passing that their new OC has installed.

Would love to see Gio being used like Darren Sproles in NO.

Gio would be a TREMENDOUS fit for the Skins. Morris has had a lightning strike season, but there is nothing behind him.
The Lions could also upgrade and help themselves if they lost Best and went with Gio.

Re: Could Sly be drafted before Gio and Coop?
For selfish reasons I'd love to see Gio become a Dolphin, but I don't think Miami is looking running back. In addition to Reggie Bush the Dolphins have invested draft picks in Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas recently, and the Dolphins have much bigger needs on their roster at WR, TE, and CB.

Re: Could Sly be drafted before Gio and Coop?
Before the trading deadline passed, I remember hearing rumors Dallas, Detroit, and Green Bay contacted the Panthers regarding Williams. I just assumed those teams could be interested in Gio draft time. Atlanta caught me by surprise although that wouldn't disappoint me.

SEA has Robert Turbin doing a decent change up job for them, but everyone else I could see.

?
anyone who gets enough carries under shanahan is going to have a great season. if shanahan gives the same guy carries in back to back years, he's going to have a great few years: portis, davis...

Re: Could Sly be drafted before Gio and Coop?
Gio in the Skins' stretch, zone blocking scheme would be a great fit. His vision coupled with his ability to set up blocks and cut back is an ideal fit. Skins don't have a first round pick however so I don't see Gio ending up in Washington.
