Hearing rumblings about North Carolina CB Jabari Price entering the 2013 draft. He should as he's in the mix to be one of the top CB's taken

While our defensive backfield has made incremental improvement over the past few years, it is still by far the weakest link of the team as well as within the defensive unit. Jabari Price, a true Jr., could certainly benefit by honing his pass defense skills with his remaining year of eligibility! Price hasn't demonstrated "shutdown corner" skills where one could say, "he's ready for Sunday afternoon play"!
Shaking my head with this notion.........hmmmm?

I remember Kendric Burney was talking about leaving after his junior year which shocked me and we know how that turned out. He didn't even get drafted as a senior. Who do these guys talk to

That is only evidence that he should have gone. He had a major let-down season his senior year. After his Junior year he was listed as the #2 CB and would have been drafted without a doubt. That being said, this is not a similar case with Price.

I remember being at the Music City Bowl in 2010 and Price was benched before the half for letting two Vols receivers get behind him. For us to be bettr on D next year we'll need better DB's than Price and a couple who played for us this past season.

If there is any truth to this rumor I think it means that Price thinks he may be second on the depth chart next year or that he may be having academic troubles.
