Adams (DT) Official visit schedule

Hoping we are the last visit.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- After the Under Armour All-America Game, five-star defensive lineman Montravius Adams (Vienna, Ga./Dooly) will waste little time starting his official visits. He plans to head straight out Friday night to Gainesville, Fla., to check out the Gators after he plays in the all-star game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg (5 p.m. ET, ESPN).

“I want to get my mom around the Florida coaches and see how she likes them,” Adams said. “The chance to play under Bryant Young helps Florida stand out because he has done a lot of things I want to do.”

Up next will be Clemson, the first school to offer the No. 7 prospect in the ESPN 150.

“Clemson was my first offer and I have always been high on them,” he said. “It is just a place I like to be.”

Although the Tigers have been prominently mentioned by Adams throughout his recruitment, he insists he has no leader at the moment. Alabama will get its chance to take the top spot Jan. 18.

“Alabama is a championship team full of great coaches,” Adams said. “[Defensive line] Coach Chris Rumph and I get along really well.”

The fourth scheduled official is to in-state Georgia, which is looking to replace its defensive line coach after Rodney Garner left to return to his alma mater, Auburn.

“Georgia is my next visit and they are pretty high for me right now.” Adams said. “Some people think they have dropped because coach Rodney Garner is gone, but I still want to meet whoever they hire at defensive line coach. They could end up bringing in someone better than him.”

Ole Miss, UNC and Auburn are battling it out for a possible fifth official visit from Adams, who says he intends to make his decision on signing day.

Don't really see any non-SEC school really competing seriously for Adams; however, strange things can happen on the recruiting trail!

not only that but if he doesn't even know if he wants to visit your school it is pretty much a guarantee that he isn't going to attend. Not 100% but pretty darn close.

I believe Clemson has been his favorite for a while but things can change quick in recruiting. I would love to see him visit Chapel Hill because I think we could really impress him.

Get him and his family around Coach Fed and anything could happen.
