yeah one year essentially.. 2011 would have been Russell instead of Glennon.. Then this year the pack would have had to replace him with someone else. Did nothing to save his job did it...

Im a seahawks fan and lamented the Russell Wilson starting gig. I have been pleasantly surprised by him. He is a good person which I already knew but hes a pretty dang good pro-qb so far too.

Despite where he play college ball, He's a heck of a pro thus far.

dude if you don't make fun of state fans for Russell Wilson, I have to ? your UNC fandom. My wife's brother in law (who I like a lot) is a state grad and three of my close friends and state grads and big time state fans/boosters, and nothing gets them like Wilson jabs.

John Bunting didn't recruit Wilson who wanted to go to UNC. Then the Willie Parker thing. Why did DB let JB stay for 6 years is beyond me.

You mean Bunting? Our OC wanted Wilson bad (and Wilson wanted UNC), but Bunting wanted Mike Paulus and promised him he wouldn't take another QB.

Bunting wanted Wilson, too, but he had already promised Paulus he wouldn't recruit another quarterback when he found out how good Wilson was. Was a matter of integrity,something some football coaches don't have.

I never thought even when we were still in the mix that Wilson could possibly be where he is today. He is having one heck of a debut.

I don't really understand the original post. But if you are talking about the Seahawk player introduction and RW said, "Wisconsin" that is exactly like Gerald Sensabough saying "North Carolina". Gerald only played one year after East Tenn. disbanded their football team and he was allowed to transfer without sitting out a year.
