The pic with Rameses in the background is classic.

That is just an immortal call by Jones as well. Everything about that play is just spectacular.

If the NFL doesn't work out Gio has a career in pork futures. He saved our bacon a lot this year.

Lol @ accwatcher1. Every time a woofie brings up the UNC/State game from now on, all I will ask is "why did Toby punt to Gio?".

Check the comments. I'm beginning to believe that there is not a solitary location, anywhere on the vast expanses of the interwebs, where you can't find a wuffie illustrating the stupidity of that fanbase.

That was just crazy.... What a fitting way to end a drought and possible career against you know who....

Yeah, Those are some of the funky alternates that I wish would catch on with the fan base!

I've noticed that the idiot, stupid and ugly genes, seems to be very prevalent among people associated with the agdogs. I think the campus must be built over a landfill or old toxic waste dump site.

Yes marvelous photo...happy for the young man and wish him well. Heels lose a top performer from next years squad. But a chance for the younger players to step up. Guess one has to take the money ,over fear of injury ! That's the current landscape in sports theses days.
Look forward to seeing him play on Sunday.

+1 from the helmets, toby's facial expression, Gio skipping in, beating them, stayte guy shaking his head, Jones' call....EVERYTHING!

Re: This never gets old

What's even worse for Toby is he knows, without question, that had they somehow been able to push Gio out of bounds and won the game in OT. He would be working, right now, getting the agdogs ready to play in their bowl game and the aggies would be singing his praises.

Re: This never gets old

I don't think there's any doubt that TOBy would still be there had they won that game. That's why, in a weird kind of way, coaching for the aggies is a sweet gig. You don't have to be great. In fact, you can be fairly mediocre and the fans will never say a disparaging word as long as you win one special game a year.

It's what allowed Toby to keep a job and ended up costing him a job.

Gio's special, that's for sure.Awesome. Can't help but imagine what next year would have been like if we had had Gio and Lucas in the backfield together. What a double threat that would have been, along with BR at QB.Boy, we came so close to getting shut out by our 3 instate rivals.WHEW.Thanks a million Gio.Good luck next year.

Re: This never gets old

Definitely the best moment of the year for me. I was listening to the radio for this game (as I usually do) and Angel's reaction said it all. Old habits die hard and I still miss Woody. I refuse to listen to the numbskulls on television. Even if I watch I still turn the volume down and listen to the radio.

Really hate to see Gio go but I think we can all understand that he is ready for a bigger stage. Thanks for the great memories and I wish the young man all the success in the world.

Now if we can just get our defensive revved up for next year, it's on to bigger and better things...

I am sure it is replete with complaints against refs for not calling imaginary holds and clips.

Me too. And I was one of the posters complaining about Fedora allowing him to be a return man.
