Thanks to govbum for this wonderful find.

Dam...that gave me goosebumps on top of goose bumps. Thanks Rat!

Look and listen to that crowd. Everytime I watch the old RFK vids it hurts. You wonder why it is that in baseball you see a trend in building smaller more intimate stadiums but the NFL needs these gargantuan colesiums?  I realize the need for bigger stadiums for the NFL because of a shorter schedule more revenue etc but how nice would it be if Snyder built something akin to RFK?!

Don't thank me bro.

Govbum found it and posted it in the thread stickied at the top.

I am just putting it on it's own thread for archiving.

I guess I should have known that some Clevela, er, Balitmore Ravens fans would have shown up this week to talk smack.

I'm not talking smack, or I would be in the smack forum, I'm just bringing facts and an interesting conversation

However what is interesting is the thirty runs the Texans laid on your arses the other night.

Wow. Nice find. I was actually there in that Stadium as a 10y/o with my Dad to see that game. I may have turned out to be Cowboys fan (we moved from VA to TX a  few years later) but that video brought back great memories, and you're right about the older stadiums having a much better ambiance for fans. TX Stadium I don't like either it's very cold (not temp wise but feeling) and no character. I wish the Cowboys would play outside quite frankly. Way more fan involvement when you play in more intimate/smaller stadiums. Having had season tickets for two years straight in TX stadium there wasn't one game I went to that could even remotely compare to how it felt to be in RFK for a football game.

Facts?

You stated that we, and I quote, "haven't had some success in a while."

Um, the last I checked, we made the playoffs fairly recently.

Stupid people need love too... well...
not REAL love....
I'm talking Wal-Mart Clearance Isle love...
but love all the same

(back to the topic)

WOW WOW WOW... that was so HUGE.

fer ya'll youngin-ers.
ya see...
back in dem dare dayz...

If you had a 10 point lead and
two minutes left on the clock
you did NOT have enough
to beat the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys were AMAZING.

And it made your gut ache because you knew it.

I promise you
that any Redskin paying attention
KNEW that a 7 point lead was as good as losing.
Those p*ckers would find a way to score.

so...

That was HUGE !!!

Thank you, Coach Pettibone.

Only wish I could've seen it live instead of 15 years after it happened. Still quite a great play as I stare at the autographed Daryl Grant SI cover in front of me

What many of you may not know is that Grant's alma mater, Rice, at the time he attended, had NO powder puff courses, and a snobby academic environment in which professors discriminated against athletes. I admire him doubly for making it through such an inherently difficult university under those circumstances.

AND, he is the nicest fellow you could ever want to meet...so generous with his time for fans. Love ya, "First DG"!

No.

If you did
you would also get ulcer in the off season when people are talking about the Draft.
And that's not good for you.

Your era is coming.
Stock up on the Rolaids.

OH just pin this one to the top for a little bit MODERATORS.

It's too good to let sink to the second page.
That was a great great moment.

My butt doesn't dance so good anymore.
Yet the brain IN my butt is still doing a jig over this video.
