Adam Vinatieri's 4th great grandfather was the director of George Custer's band. On the last patrol, Custer decided at the last minute not to take them. Had he not changed his mind, there would never have been any high profile snow angels.

RE: Trivia Thread
(Bwahahaha. I believe that because the closest I ever came to dying was on a donkey on a rocky mountainside in Greece. I consider myself an excellent rider and wasn't taking the mountaintop descent seriously, was leaning over backward to take a picture of my Mom when the donkey tripped. I would have been impaled on dagger sharp rocks on a little, remote Greek island. Hubris! ) 33 popes have died violent deaths.

RE: Trivia Thread
George Preston Marshall attempted to block the creation of the Cowboys, so the potential Cowboys owner purchased the rights to Hail to the Redskins from the disgruntled author, and threatened Marshall that unless he allowed the Cowboys to exist, he would legally block the Redskins from playing the song.
Thus, the Cowboys were born.
