There are so few good teams in the SEC right now (consistently, there's really only two: UK and Florida) that UT could probably use another tough conference game on the sked. It's not like in football, where an Ole Miss or a Mississippi State gets good and you say, "Damn, can this conference slate get any harder?" Adding one more really good team to the schedule helps UT's RPI whether they win or not, and helps prep you for the NCAAT. I'd rather that than to just keep playing SEC bottom feeders who do nothing for you either way, other than either an expected W or a deeply damaging L.
