Following Kahlil

Following Kahlil

Great quote: Kahlil McKenzie, lining up on top of Matthew Burrell fired off the ball at the snap and his initial punch put Burrell on his back. There wasn’t much more to it than that. Burrell measured in at 6-4, 291 pounds but he might as well have weighed 160 the way McKenzie handled him on that rep.

I hear that (UT) train coming,
It's coming 'round the bend.
Just a matter of time now,
Until we start win.

Oh we're going back to winning-
Just you wait and see.
Ole Butch Jones is going to lead us
On back to victory.

Sorry Mr. Cash.

K McKenzie and dominoes....

So, which ones fall into place following this huge announcement?

Biggest (I don't mean size) DL commitment to UT since Big John?

In recruiting, it ain't over until the Fax Lady sings!

Kahlil is a big get for the Vols

We Have a legit big time defensive player who can contribute from day 1. He's a great player to build a defensive line around.Would be great if he's the next reggie white . Butch is certainly bringing in the talent , now  if we can start getting the results on the field. Things are looking up in BIG ORANGE COUNTRY GO VOLS

K Mack/ brother

Is he a player? Looks like an offensive tackle in the making. He's got to be 6'6 to 6'7 about 350 by standing beside his brother.

Ritchie Pettibon. Afterward, he apparently yelled "Roll Tide" in Khalil's face.

That might be an interesting clash.

Re: Kahlil is a big get for the Vols

This is a dream, I know, but I remember watching a minor bowl game in Dec. 2002, between a 6-5 Oklahoma team, and Ole Miss. (I had Ole Miss plus the points). Ole Miss won on a last second FG. The next year, and nobody saw it coming, Oklahoma won the National championship. Let's just get to a bowl this year, and with all the talent we're getting, you never know.

Re: Following Kahlil

The Alabama commit got his butt whipped and manhandled, and was holding on for dear life.  It wasn't even close.  He had to result to trying to fight but he's fortunate Mckenzie paid little attention to him and was more concerned about the next rep.
