A question about Colin Kaepernick

The national media seems to be a little reticent in discussing Kaepernick's origins.I'd like to know if his mother is his biological mother or an adoptive one?.I ask this only because I am a friend of former Jets' QB,Ray Lucas, who had a biological mother who was white.I understand that this is a sensitive topic.Even the East Coast media rarely made mention of Ray's origins when he played for Rutgers or the Jets.

On a lighter note,it seems that most of the Rutgers fans are rooting for the Ravens because they believe that this may be Ray Rice's only shot at the title, and that Anthony Davis of your team will probably have many more chances.

He was adopted by the Kaepernick's when he was only a few weeks old...

Not reticent at all. His family life has been reported on to the point of cliche. The East Coast may not have picked it up, though, because it was already old news to all of us long before his sudden rise.

Re: A question about Colin Kaepernick

He was born to Heidi Russo, who put him up for adoption after six weeks because she didn't believe she could provide him the proper care. He was adopted by Teresa and Rick Kaepernick, lived in Wisconsin until he was four years old and then they moved to Turlock, California, where he lived until he went to college at University of Nevada, Reno.

And he got straight A's in high school. And he scored a 37 on the Wonderlic. (Aaron Rodgers scored a 35, Joe Flacco scored a 27, Peyton Manning scored a 28, Tom Brady scored a 33.)

Kaepernick is so smart, even the football he throws makes pre-pass and post-pass reads.

Re: A question about Colin Kaepernick

Thanks to all for the information.

I used to watch the 49'ers highlites as part of a weekly program which showed about 8 minutes of each NFL game played the previous Sunday.I especially liked watching Abe Woodson and Tommy Davis.

Good luck tomorrow.A Rutgers player will have a ring regardless of the outcome.

Kaepernick invented manifolds in order to better predict how a football will bounce.

Kaepernick's passing distribution charts can be performed as a sonata when transcribed as musical notation.

Kaepernick and Bill Walsh have never been seen in the same room at the same time. For good reason. They're the same person.

The only thing Kaepernick doesn't understand is pressure, despite his Nobel Prize in physics.
