Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco Forty Niners

Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco Forty Niners

Again, I can't wait!  The Niners have made it to the post-season for the second year in a row.  This is it, win or stay home.

We all know who I am going to pick!

For some reason I am not as nervous as the New England game.  Perhaps I look at NE as an NFL benchmark.

GOOOOOO NINERS!!!
No play is to big for Colin Kaepernick!!!

Re: Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco Forty Niners

I dumped my season tickets many years ago….nothing to do with the team, more social reasons than anything else.  There use to be a large group of us that traveled and partied together and then suddenly over the years we realized there were only a few of us left and we had reached the age where not only was the view on the large screen at home better but also more comfortable, not to mention convenient.  However, I sure wish I had a ticket to this one it would be worth the drive and the hassle……at least I believe it would be.  biggrin

The NE Game is the reason I am a little bit nervous. I am curious to see what #94 does. This has been a different team since his injury.

Taken off the 49er ESPN home page.

Spin: Smith was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, as he continues to build strength in anticipation of Saturday's showdown. He said himself that he doesn't know how long he can hold up Saturday, or how effective he'll be playing with a partially torn left triceps, but it sounds like Smith will be on the field to give it what he has. The injury will require surgery after the season.

NOT what I wanted to hear.  frown

I can feel the heat of this NFC North Division rivalry as it should be!

Yes, it should be a great game and thanks for the support.  ReggieWhite92, I haven't heard or read about that man in years.  You carry his name, number & picture like a shrine.  I must give my respect to arguably one of the best defensive football players of the modern era of the NFL.

Re: Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco Forty Niners

Listening to ESPN Radio, 3 dynamics for the Niners have changed since the Opening day of the season: CK is the starter, Crabtree is the go to receiver & Justin Smith's injury/David Akers injury.

Before it was Alex Smith, VD as the go to receiver and a healthy Justin Smith.

They were talking about how different this postseason's Niner team is from the beginning of the season and last post season.

There is a chance I may miss this game, looking forward to reading the thread!  You guys know I bleed the Scarlett & Gold!!!  GOOOOOOO NINERS!!!

Yeah the difference is we aren't nearly as good as opening day and the Packers have improved.

should be a great game, i could see the winner of this game representing the NFC in the super bowl

my opinion, i think the team that can create some turnovers will have a big advantage and probably win the game

Mooch picked the Packers! I knew it was a good move to fire himtongue

My two favorite teams are the 49ers and whoever is playing Seattle.

Let's go ahead and get a few things out of the way, since I know they'll be uttered during the thread tonight.

"DAMNIT, HARBAUGH, PUT IN ALEX SMITH! YOU RUINED OUR SEASON!!

"SCREW YOU, AKERS! COST US A SUPER BOWL!"

"OUR OFFENSE STINKS!"

Got any more?

Re: Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco Forty Niners

thats true. We can still be good without him, but against an elite QB, like Rodgers, we will be in trouble if The Cowboy isn't effective.

That's a little too logical. I was going more for the irrational, Chicken Little complaints.

How about some from the other side...

"THROW THE DAMN BALL RODGERS! AND QUIT TAKING SACKS"

"WE CAN'T STOP THE RUSH AT ALL"

"MY GOD OUR KICKER SUCKS"
