Week 16 GAMETHREAD: San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks  (1 vote)
Since a game thread doesn't exist yet, I thought I'd start one.
Justin Smith is officially out for this game, he's inactive. Mario Manningham, meanwhile, is active for this game and AJ Jenkins has gone back to the inactive list. Ian Williams will be active for the second time this season to be the primary backup at nose tackle since RJF (the usual primary backup at all three defensive line positions) will now start at Justin Smith's defensive end position. Will Tukuafu will be the primary defensive end reserve.
It'll be interesting to see how well RJF plays with a starter's share of snaps. And how well Ian Williams plays if he gets some snaps. With Sopoaga potentially moving on in free agency this off-season, both of those players could be pretty important longer-term.

smith is out as expected and while he's a huge loss, i think RJF can do a good job. we need to swarm to lynch and bring him down- arm tackles won't do it!
this is going to be a battle of wills and we need to come out focussed and desperately hungry for the win.

They should come out with the starting game plan as last week against the pats.

Extremely pathetic!
Is this one of those games Harbaugh doesn't get his team up for?
Aldon easily got pushed out of the way and didn't pursue on that TD run.
