Kaepernick, the whole team looking pretty darn impressive in that first quarter.

Did anyone else notice with :53 seconds left in the 1Q, Gore killed the play and then Kaepernick alerted everyone? Thought that was interesting.

i don't want to overreact on just over 1 quarter of play so far.....but i think it's a safe thing to say that he's easily the greatest QB i've ever laid eyes on.  seriously though- kid looks composed and so ready to be playing. wowza  "You are either getting better or you are getting worse; you never stay the same."

btw- sorry for the 'teddy-bears' reference in the subject line... but we're killing you right now bears. sorry. cutler or no cutler, we're looking like the dominant D and the dominant team overall.
aldon got his 2nd sack and forced a fumble which campbell recovered. but then t-brown just picked him off!!!!!!!

The way I see it you would have the following teams interested: Jets Bills Philly Arizona Jacksonville Kansas City _______________________________________________________________________________

honestly, i have to say it again: it's 1 quarter of play. who knows what will happen. but i'm seeing a QB who i had a ton of belief in before this game. a QB with a world of physical talent and a ton of football IQ to match. a QB with a great work ethic who studies film like madman and who has a great desire to be great! a QB who has these qualities but lacks experience....but yet is now getting the opportunity and is looking like he's more than ready for it.

Kansas City i don't think i'd be so quick to dump smith. i still think he's a really smart and good QB. it is quite possible CK is beginning down that path though. he would have to prove himself over multiple games though. i'm just saying this is an incredibly impressive performance against a really good defense. let's see how he finishes it out over 4 quarters....and then possibly how he does in a hostile environment in NO. there's no doubt in my mind though that we need a QB with his abilities to truly take the next step of making our passing game explosive. smith has been outstanding and very well could lead us to a SB win too. but the margin for error with him in there would seem to be less IMO. anyway again i apologize for jumping to conclusions. somewhere pudding is going to have a kitten when he sees this premature chatter! not happy with that result- CK getting sacked- but i like that he showed poise to hold onto the football after taking a bit hit on the blitz.
4 posessions, 4 scores. how's that for going against one of the best D's in the league? 20-0!

it's hard to imagine harbaugh not starting CK in NO. CK has the hot hand which harbaugh seems to favor but also it would be hard for smith to come back after a week and a bit off plus on the road in a tough environment.

bowman and willis heard the whole chatter from briggs, you can be sure. they're looking like the dominant duo tonight. not saying briggs and urlacher aren't great too. but.....

what i like is that tonight all 3 of his sacks are on bull rushes or him just beating the OT off the corner. most of his others were on stunts. versatility!
