New VH album
Rocks! Big time!
The tattoo video blows. Song is much better as a song. Still, it's the weakest song on the disc. Definitely getting this next week!

Sorry....VH without Michael Anthony's thumping bass is like Kiss without Ace and Peter.

Totally agree about Anthony's bass not being present but I'll tell you what man, after reading this thread I went to youtube and checked out "Tatoo" and I'll tell you what, that's a pretty damn good tune.
They really pi$$ed me off with VH3 with Cherone but this newest album sounds like they've got their balls back.
Eddie sounds like he's finally found his guitar after years of experimenting and the terribly bland sound that he had on the VH3 album.
David Lee Roth sounded really good too on Tatoo.

Sorry. I was a fan of both hagar halen and roth halen. I just listened to tatoo on youtube and it sounds like some old men trying to make some more money off their glory of the past. No balls to it and the guitar riffs are weak at best. Words are horrible. I didn't like it at all.

Tattoo is probably the weakest song on the disc. Listen to it before writing it off. There's a reason it's getting universally good reviews...
If I had to guess, Ed did the bass work for recording.

It's a hell of alot better than anything on VH3 or Balance, that's for sure.
