Let Vick run. While people might say he's terrible at the presnap read he's brilliant in reading the open field for his feet. We've forced him into a pocket passer role. He can do it. But protection is bad and he's making mistakes by staying in to the bitter end. The only response is to let Vick run. He is the greatest at it, greatest of all time. He improved as a passer but now by eliminating his running altogether he's gone downhill. You can't win by taking away your own greatest strength.

Let me say it one more time.

He'll do better this week b/c the refs are back.  Welcome to yesteryear when receivers couldn't just run free.  Fantasy fans got a taste of just how ordinary Rodgers and Brady may have been back in the 1980's when receivers couldn't run free.  Heck, Jaws may have been Drew Brees in this league.

Might as well. It can't get much worse than it is the way they're using him. BTW, I think you're right. It's the only way that he can play. He's completely ineffective now.

Ahh there's the rub....he runs , he gets hurt.  

    That's why he could be so great for one game.  He plays with abandon and he runs and he kills you.   But he does that and he's shortlived. 

 I think basically he's always been a flawed game plan.   A Ron Guidry who is thin and throws so hard that he's going to have a short career.

 I for one , have argued wiht OER's that you would have been better off keeping the kid who beat you last week.

I was never a Kolb basher. But the way Vick played that first season after replacing him. I can understand why they made the decision that they did. And we got a lot for him in trade. And Foles has a higher upside IMO. Kolb alone didn't beat us last week. I haven't seen them play since the game that we lost to them last year. But that Cards team is a handful. Their D might be the best in the league right now.
