But you must be happy with that blocked extra point.

well, I certyainly hope we're not trading trends. You know, you beat us at home in the regular season, then we beat you in Joisey in the playoffs. if we start winning at home...

Time to create some score space NOW. Too many run plays getting blown up in the backfield. Our blocking assignments are being blown AND the Giants have prepared well for our run game.

Re: LIVE Eagles-Gnats thread

Congratulations.... I think you and the Saints are the class of the Conference and somewhere after that The Cowboys, Minny, and Arizona.

I've said for years that McNabb is the third best QB in football, Id' put Brees up there with him now but that's pretty rarified country.

If it's not us, I hope you go all the way and shut up all the talk about McNabb and Reid.

Until the back seven gets better , we're not a very good team.

huge run for LeSean. That play shows how much respect teams have for DeSean touching the ball... Great so far

Props to the OL today.  They really showed up after two horrid games.  If the OL can play like this every week, this team will be hard to beat.

Re: LIVE Eagles-Gnats thread

Boy, for a team who "CAN'T" run the ball, we certainly looked good doing it today. The offensive line was SOLID. Maybe we can count on some continuity kicking in. Same group playing together for 2 weeks now. The only false start came late in the 4th quarter with Stacy Andrews getting reps. Donovan was great. 9 TDs and 1 INT now on the year. Not too bad. Our defense certainly showed up again. Babin nearly put the Giants enough momentum to turn it around, but McCoy and the line took it right back.

I almost cried a tear of joy today with the playcalling. We mixed it up and many times I wasn't SURE what was coming. Great job on both ends. Bring on the Cowgirls

The only problem is they're not always that unpredictable...And when the fat man (Ried) has his mind set on passing it doesn't change....I do think that Herremans' return to the line up is huge and allows us to run and pass better.

Re: LIVE Eagles-Gnats thread

Boy we really put it together today.

My concern was McNabb getting his rhythm straight. He sure did.

Bonus was the straight up the middle running game against a tough D line.  Were we hiding this offense?

Granted we have Herremans back and what an impact his return has made.  And S Andrews is getting some reps and he seems to make a little difference.  I really like the combination of Weaver and Shady. This offensive unit showed some serious maturation today. Maclin even had a good grab. Most importantly, everyone did something.

And as I love to shout

 CELEK IS A BEAST

As we are all already aware, our D gets things going, creatin', making things happen. Witherspoon is maybe even an improvement over Bradley (gulp--I said it).

And finally, Howie Long is a douchebag.

Re: LIVE Eagles-Gnats thread

McNabb, both the greatest and worst quarterback of all time. He is seriously working on that level of inconsistency. But hey, if he happens to have these kind of games against our good opponents and through the playoffs I'm fine with it.

Yea...I really wish we would let Weaver get more touchs instead of just blocking...He creates something special quite a bit dating back to seattle and halling in passes for 40 + yards..Now running..And yea...I LOVE Celek.....I do believe dating back to last season(I'm sure I could find the thread) I said I seen a kid that was better then LJ...And WANTED to play unlike LJ and boy does he ever play...I'm not expecting 1000 yards this season but damn he is probably going to get close.
