I think the Chiefs and Jags will win one more game each...we have (currently) SOS advantage over them, so if we manage to lose out we would have 1st overall.

Heres hoping for four straight close losses where our kids dominate but we continue to give away 10+ points.

Haha this was me last year when we were 4-8 hoping we'd lose out to get rid of Andy and a top 5 pick.  Of course, we know how that turned out.  This defense *is* really bad enough that we could realistically lose out to go 3-13.  However, I'm not sure Jacksonville or KC will win another game unless they play each other. 

Unfortunately, there is no Andrew Luck or RG3 in this draft.  Figures a year we might get the top pick there isn't one lol.  Hopefully one of the teams below us is in love with Geno Smith or Matt Barkley enough to trade up from 3-5 to 1 and give us a bunch of picks, because God knows we need them.  We could realistically have an entirely new starting secondary next year, and I don't know who is supposed to be FA's yet.

I like Te'o but IMO we'll go either OT Luke Joeckel (Texas A&M) or CB Dee Milliner (CB Alabama).  Joeckel would start at RT and move to LT in a few years when Peters leaves/retires.  Milliner would take over for either Nnamdi or DRC, since odds are both will be gone.  Of course, we don't know what underclassmen that would be top 5 picks will declare yet...this is just my guess based on who will be there now.

The "meaningless" win possibility that scares the most is the Giants game, who very conceivably be locked into the 4 seed at that time, but hopefully RG3 will have something to say about that.

As far as the pick goes, depending upon where we fall, Luke Joeckel seems to make a lot of sense at first glance. The apparent miss on Watkins really makes infusing some young talent on the OL even more crucial. As mentioned in another thread, the only player that looks like a long-term piece is Kelce.

If the Eagles lose out they will be at worst 3rd overall.   I see some potential winable games in the KC/OAK/Jacksonville schedules.

and Geno Smith - this might be the #1 overall and be better than RG3.    Hopefully Foles shows promise, we lose out, and some team trades the world to us for Geno.

Why am I thinking that we are going to win two more meaningless games and fall out of the top 10 of the draft.   We cant even suck correctly.
