The Eagles in less than a week have parted with the wide nine's coach and its poster boy player.
Defensive line coach Jim Washburn was fired Monday and replaced by Tommy Brasher, who returns for a third stint with the Eagles in the same position.
Brasher also coached the defensive line in 1985 and from 1999-2005.
“Jim is a fine football coach and we appreciate the efforts he gave to this team over the past two years,” said head coach Andy Reid in a statement released by the team. “However, I determined that it was in the team’s best interest that we move in a different direction in terms of trying to maximize the production of that position group. We look forward to having Tommy Brasher back on board to work with the defensive line.”

Lets see. They fired Juan when the O was the main problem. Now they fire Washburn when the DB's are the main problem. Makes sense to Andy I guess. If this keeps up, we're a lock for #1 in this years draft.
