Link given at RF.net works though.

As the title says, when you're chatting with me, you're chatting with a legend. :)

Ever heard the saying if it ain't broke?

This is pretty awful any way you spin it. Looks like it's time to take the plunge to that other forum, I've been holding out but every year you do something else that makes the site worse.

Last year it was pay to post. This year you give the forum to a generic sports site? Raider Nation deserves better than this. I'm out just wanted to give my cents.

Thanks for the many years Bob, just cause I'm upset doesn't mean I don't appreciate the times when you did give a ****.

Btw your sneak preview link is broken.
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Sorry you feel that way buddy but unfortunately it's been broke. Software issues, app issues, technical issues and at times, financial issues. Most people do not realize what it takes to run a large website with a limited budget and limited resources. I've always did what is best for our community, and at times, it meant making touch decisions. But this move to Scout is huge for our community! PREMIUM members will be able to browse PREMIUM content and forums from their other favorite teams, chat with other teams fans just to name a few! In addition to moving to a large, well established fan network like Scout, we now have a dedicated support staff ready to help our members. Our website sits in a large datacenter monitored by a support staff. Best of luck to you and GO RAIDERS!

Reagrding the look of the old forums, to me the Dallas Cowboy's one for example is a decent looking setup. They use a smaller icon so things are more compact vs the RF Net jumbo sized one. And they have a nice contrast between each thread, where as the Raider's forum doesn't. Just those two small changes to something smaller more functional and a little better contrast imo would make the looks of the site well enough.

We're losing the "Like" feature, aren't we? That was the best new feature that has been added in years.

Spell Checker?

Re: Forum redesign in the works!

So other teams fans are able to view our paid forum? Is that really something that is a positive?

How will that effect the release of sensitive inside info?

This year you said you knew the picks before but couldn't post it because it could leak out.

Will that continue or will we get updates again now ?

I understand the budget aspect, it's unfortunate that you couldn't budget the premium revenue to support the site. I remember people offering to help you free of charge, why did you not let them help is keep the site?

A lot of people like the site, you should seriously reconsider, you're just going to lose more members to that new site if you follow through with this.

Let me say this, we will never do anything to jeopardize the team. If we leaked our draft picks, it could of seriously hurt the team. Our sources are the best you'll find, but there is a fine line as to what we will share with the community.

A lot of people reached out and I've entertained what they had to say. Many simply do not have the experience and expertise needed to run a site of this size. I accepted donations and did everyting I could do to help keep things up and running. I've had many offers to flat out sell RF and SB, but this community is my baby and means way too much to me. You can't put a pricetag on that. But at the end of the day, this move to Scout will greatly benefit our members. Our traffic issue no longer exists because of Scout. Our growing website hosting bills no longer exist because of Scout. I/We can focus now on running this community and providing our media coverage to our members. With that said, these are the biggest reasons why this move excites me! Keep in mind, we have writers in the press box, photographers on the field (including me) and videographers doing exclusive interviews. No other community does what we do nor can they match our passion!

eek1

Raider fans are dumber than they look if they believe this garbage.  lolololol

hey raider fans, I also have inside info.  Your team sucks!  hahaha, and yes I also knew who your draft picks would be, but I can even do one better than you bob carr, I'll even let you know on my inside secret as to what their future is.  Drafted by the Raiders  = Bust

Be careful who you share my inside knowledge with.tongue

Actually, just stopping by to say a Friendly Hi.  Hope you guys like it here at Scout, hopefully you enjoy the rivalries, one of the great things about scout is having the fans interact and talk **** with eachother.

And here is the biggest downside, any troll on Scout can just pop on over and talk ****. Oh well. If it means I don't have to see another MomIQ ad, then it can't be all that bad.
