I was afraid of a big loss too. However, I have a moral victory and more confidence in the Silver and Black. A few of thoughts:

1. The MNF crew that did our game is better than the regular crew. Gruden is awful on the primary group.

2. The Murphy TD pass turnover is wrong, no matter how they want to interpret the rule or view the video. Anyone who says this is typical Raider fan crying can kiss my ***.

3. Good observation at the end of the game. Our LB were giving up a lot of ground in the prevent. Marshall needs to fix this.

4. Our OL and our DL delivered some BIG blows on the SD lines. They really manned up.

5. We have a good running game that can really do some damage.

6. Murphy and Heyward-Bey are rookies and really looked like it tonight. However, they have a lot of upside.

7. Thank goodness we had Seymour in the mix.

8. JRuss looked bad. He looked confused. I think Frye is a better 2nd string than Gradkowski. Maybe a better starter than Russell.

9. Cable and his staff did a great job in preparation.

I tip my hat to these guys....they played their hearts out. It was really nice to see the effort and intensity last throughout the whole game. Even though we lost, there is plenty to get excited about. Hold your heads up fellas, you deserved to win last night.

Charger fan here. Just wanted to say that your team played one hell of a game last night, it's good to see the "old" Raiders back. Now we have some competion back in our division !!! WELCOME BACK and good luck this year !!!

I was going to comment on that myself,mike golic's douchebag level is off the charts,but he,mike and steve were very professional for once...it felt like a real football broadcast team as opposed to clowns like tirico,kornheiser [the worst voice ever] and jaws.
