Re: fantasy football 2014 advice for ppr

You won't see me take Charles on my FF team. For the same reason I won't take Peyton Manning.
Besides that, I had no idea what you were talking about. I don't know what ppr is, and I don't get 1-4 pick thing. Do you mean if I'm in a league that has 15 players, If I have the #1-4 pick I should take one of those guys? If I don't pick until #9 -12, I should pick the players you suggested?

Thanks, I'm about to play my first FF team.

Defence Seahawks

If that were me and I had trading ability, I would trade Manning, Wison bowe, vernon daviw and the seattle defense. All those guys play in the afc and nfc west. I'd rather lose in my league than take any 2014 Raiders opponents.

ppr is point per reception leagues both rb/wr and te get 1 pt per each rec, this scenario is for 12 tm leagues and pick 1 thru 4,5-8 and 9-12

i wont be grabbing peyton manning,i believe in grabbing qbs late and building depth at rb/wr in the 1st 7 rds and 1 te by rd 8,ill end up with cutler, bigben in most drafts

i got pick 6 so forget about me getting charles too

Manning of course.
Forte and DMC or MJD.  (hopefully I would get a feel by game one who will get the majority of carries) Martin is playing the Panthers in TB and coming off an injury.
I assume you play 3 wideouts, so I would play Johnson, Wallace, and Smith for game one.  Oh, your wideouts blow chunks229031_barf.gif
Tight end...Davis was my TE last year and IMO there aren't many game breakers at that position.
I had Seattle's defense last year and they payed big dividends.  The rule enforcement on holding, and pushing receivers after five yards may have an impact as well as the super bowl hang over.

Good look to you, but I would work to improve your wide receiver crew.  How many teams in your league?

Re: fantasy football 2014 advice for ppr

Thanks for the explanation. My draft/leauge isn't set up yet so I don't know where I'll be drafting but I think it's an auto draft with some snake thing where if there are 10 teams and I pick first in the first round, I'll pick last in the second round and 5th in the 3rd round (or something like that). Good idea to stock up on WR's/RB's in the first at least 6 rounds.
I don't get the D/ST part though. don't know if I have to use a pick for them or when, or if it's random.

Re: fantasy football 2014 advice for ppr

dst is a pick and they do make a difference cause they start at 20pts and as the defense gives up yds and scores the 20 pt starts to go down but good defense get points back with sacks, turnovers (int/sacks) and special team scores & yds returned

seattle, san fran, carolina, denver, new england, rams, bengals, ariz are tough defenses that give you an advantage against others,rd 8 is where seattle usually goes and the rest will follow and be gone by rd 11, a couple of late defense i like this yr is pitt,kc and saints,i usually wait on em till rd 12 cause rd 8-11 im grabbing my qb (cutler/kaep)then grab upside wr/rbs/te to fill up on depth, kicker rd 16 or last rd

Re: fantasy football 2014 advice for ppr

How did you get this with 16 teams in your league? I can see if you made QB and Defense a priority in your draft, but even landing Forte and Bowe and Davis in a 16 team league sounds strange.

I was wrong I looked it was 12 but how I did it was set my guys up how I would want them buy using a draft guide but also set priority of what was best for me In auto draft

When should I pick a kicker? I noticed in my league good kickers get about as many projected points as the better TE's.

Re: fantasy football 2014 advice for ppr

in 10 team league you grab rbs early and often,wr are a much deeper position that can be filled from rd 3-6 and i would wait even longer to grab a qb
