Marcel Reese to T.E.?

Marcel Reese to T.E.?

I heard that someone in the press asked D.A. if he would ever consider using Reese as a true TE and Allen said something a little vague like lining him up in the slot.
I'd bet a good coaching staff would know how to use a weapon like Reese. I know a lot of you have brought up the same question in the past but in light of our TE situation, and their horrible execution in the first pre season game, I'd do it in a heart beat. Olawale is perfectly capable of being the starting FB and with the emergence of RB Murray who showed he could push the pile and get yards at 6'3" 225, I think it's a no brainer.
Do something right for once coach Allen.

Yeah I've always felt that Reese should be used similar to how the Patriots used to use Aaron Hernandez.

I don't think he blocks well enough but I haven't watched. In his current role he forces defenses to adapt....not sure we benefit with him at TE but after the Ausberry Files and the rest of the TE drops we might have too.

Reese I think could play the Tight End position he is kinda small in size most TE's are bigger. He does have the hands to catch the ball he has shown that his blocking is great. I have been thinking the same to move him for a few seasons.
Good question but knowing DA it will be he would probably never do it.

Ive talked about this before but I don't understand why we don't have Reese line up at fb and Let schaub read the def and motion Reese to either the line, slot,or stay depending on what Schaub sees at the line.I remember in tim browns day I was screaming for us to sign fb larry centers, a fb that could and did catch 90 passes in a season.I thought he would be perfect working short while Brown and the track team sprinted deep every play.I could see Reese being like Centers and leading us in rec if we got creative enough with him.He could be a huge mis match much like Hernandez was in NE.

Not looking good.  We have four active TE from what I can tell.  Two rookies, one is from a town or school called Assumption.  Lionheart is from a hocky school.  Dale Murphy's kid was supposed to have great hands according Papa, Tom, or Plunk but he dropped one Friday.

So I say think outside the box.  Bulk up Greg Little.  Crash program to put 20 pounds on him by game one.  He won't be expected to catch everything if he can knock some linebackers and ends down.  Also look at our linebackers, since tight end is the offense's linebacker.  I like Bojay Filimoetu with a name like that he is a natural.

See Bojay can catch and he is strong, and 4.6 fast.
