TP2 was great.  We would have lost our ass if not for him.

no injuries I know of, and NE is in a dog fight with Buff also.  So there you go. I think we are not suposed to be as good NE and the colts are better than the Buffpirate

Long season and we will get better.

We were within a single play of upsetting a playoff team at their house; kudos to Allen and company, kudos' to TP for giving us a shot.

Yes we lost the game but I really think we finally found a quarterback. He made some " rookie " mistakes but he will get better and better each week. Showed a lot of poise in the pocket and really throughout the game. The chest bump with Allen was pretty funny. I wouldn't be suprised if Gannon calls Pryor to give him some pointers. The last drive it sounded like Gannon was trying to coach him from the booth

Gannon is the perfect reference for TP. Pryor probably has more arm strength, and is faster and stronger. He is just missing experience. If he improves this season, but we lose a lot, imagine bringing back Chucky and his offense.

Me TOOO!  TP2 showed me a lot.  He also showed his teammates that he needs them and that they can depend on him to do more than is required of him.

LuvLuv this game from several levels.

I was impressed with the whole team overall. For all we heard about how bad our D would be they held their ground and except for a couple of plays the coverage was good. Heck there was even a coverage sack for Houston.

DMac was a non factor numbers wise but you could see the D trying to figure out which one was going to have the ball. He needs to stay healthy for Pryor to succeed. Pryor was a rookie and made rookie mistakes . He didnt let that interception  effect his game and even through a couple more long balls during the game.
I thought the play calling was very good for the offense, even to keep the defense honest but not so much trick plays they lost themselves.

And when did DHB learn to catch?

Raider fan for life.

If Janikowski doesn't miss the FG we are kicking a FG for a 23-21 Victory.

Pryor made plays. This is a positive even though it's a loss.

Yeah - he showed the O line that he can make up for their horrible play.

That was a huge surprise for me. With 9 new starters on the team, you would think there would be some miscommunication in coverage or something. When they got beat, it was usually a great WR in Reggie Wayne barely beating them on a near perfect throw. Our no-name defense somehow generated a pass rush, and I think with Pryor's mobility he ended up getting hit less than Luck did. If they can keep it up and stay healthy, I think we will all really like this group of guys.

That being said, keep piling up the losses and they're going to start feeling less and less good.

I would like to point out my pleasant surprise... Nick Roach... He did a great job of running the Defense. even totaled 9 tackles..... Burnett had 6. and Moore was out...  so a lot of hope for this season.

I know loses will come.... but if we come away fighting every game like we did yesterday... we can hold our heads up. Someone said it in another thread nothing could be as bad as the Shell return =surprised

Someone should ask Indy how it felt to play the worst team in the NFL. LOL

You can go read their board. It's pretty funny. In their game day thread they were all pumped at the beginning then about half way through you see it change - guys sayin "our defense sucks we are making Pryor look like a pro bowler even though they have a crappy offense"  - then another thread saying we (colts)are one team that went to the playoffs last year but won't this year...
