Scott Caan declares for the Jets

Monday night on the new Hawai'i Five-0 actor Scott Caan, (eldest son of Godfather actor, James Caan), declared for the Jets as he recited his lines on the show.
I always figured the Caan family for Jets fans.
His Danno character on the show is an ex-Jersey detective that followed his ex-wife to Hawai'i to be near his daughter.

Factoid-O'-dah-Day:
Caan was a roadie for the rap groups Cypress Hill and House of Pain. Caan was also a member of the hip-hop group The Whooliganz (with producer and fellow MC The Alchemist). He and The Alchemist, when performing as the rap duo "The Whooliganz" in the early '90s, actually landed a record deal with Tommy Boy records. They recorded the album "Make Way for the W.", but after their first single "Put Your Handz Up", the album was shelved and the duo was dropped by Tommy Boy. In 1995, "The Whooliganz"'s song "Whooliganz" was released as a single in the UK, but Caan and The Alchemist had already parted ways.

His dad, the great James Cann, went to Hofstra University, the long time practice facility of the Jets. No surprise there.

Hawaii 5-0 is a pretty good show, and I heard his plug for the Jets. James must be a little guy, because Danno is a nudge over 5'5" if that ! Book him Danno !

Go Jets...Cyborg

Daddy is 5'-9" & 165#.

As acting goes, Hawai'i Five-0 is pretty cheesy stuff, about on a par with the original.
I don't know if that is by design to invoke the gestalt of the original show or not but the actors are all grade B actors with 6'-1/2" Alex O'Laughlin and 5'-9" Grace Park providing the eyeball candy and Lost's Daniel Dae Kim & guest star Terry O'Qinn the only actors with any chops on the show.

CBS has a number of dramas and procedurals that aren't in any way to be considered as consisting of Grammy-worthy acting but they have a "God, Country & Apple Pie" formula that works for shows like NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, & the CSI trilogy.
Blue Bloods and The Good Wife actually have some excellent actors and stand as notably good shows on both their writing and acting merits.

Trust me on this, HYATT™ is an EX-spurt on cheesy TV shows and RBMs - I've watched 'em all. biggrin
(Including every episode of Lorenzo Lamas' "Renegade", maybe the worst show EVER with one of the hottest female cast members EVER - Kathleen Kinmont.)

The original "Danno" was married to Melody Patterson, who? Melody played Wrangler Jane in F Troop. Nothing cheesy about that woman!

I love it, we are now posting the height & weight of Hollywood stars, not just Jets anymore.
