Sam Bradford out for year

Michael Vick? Do we like Matt Simms enough to trade Vick?

Mark Sanchez? Could he be traded?

Re: Sam Bradford out for year

This reminds me of the horrors of the Chad Pennington days.  You wait all off season and then your starter goes down for the season.
Good luck to him and hopes for a speedy recovery.
The last time this happened to the Rams, they won the Superbowl with a no-namer called Kurt Warner.

I think Schotty will try to persuade Jeff Fisher into trading for Mark or even Kellen Clemens, in which he started a bunch of games for St.Louis lats year.

As far as Mike Vick? If the Rams offer a 2nd rounder or even a third you take it and role with it.  I feel Rex & Marty are very comfortable with Matt Simms being the back up.

A person with knowledge of the situation told USA Today there's "no chance" Mark Sanchez would want to reunite with OC Brian Schottenheimer in St. Louis.

Through three preseason games, Sanchez has been excellent in Chip Kelly's offensive system. We've seen him play in Schotty's, and the results weren't pretty. At age 27, Sanchez is content to spend one year as a backup. He can enter free agency next March, and will likely pursue a chance to start.

I call BS on the rumor that Sanchez doesn't want to go to the Rams because of Schotty

I agree. Chad could of been special but injuries killed his career. He was hurt 3 straight seasons off and on with us I believe so this is very similar. IMO after his injuries he just didn't seem to be the same. Arm strength which he never really had a gun but it was better before the injuries. His confidence, leadership and will to win didn't seem to be the same as well. Hopefully Bradford doesn't follow the same path. Reports are the Rams are already interested in Sanchez. Not sure if they contacted the Eagles yet but if it is true that they are interested, they probably did.

Reports are the Rams have called about Kirk Cousins.

Cousins star isn't as high as after Shanahan benched RG3 the last 3 weeks Cousins faced the Giants, ATL, and Dallas, he threw 4 TDs 7 INTs and a bunch of fumbles lost. He was a turnover machine vs some horrible defenses.

If some team wants him bad enough, I think it might take an awful lot to pry Cousins away from Skins because of Griffin's reckless play and fragile knee.

Gruden grabbed Colt McCoy too. He may not have the upside, but a 3rd for Cousins would be enticing, IMO.

The first name on the list of projected QBs to start for the Dolphins in 2015 begins with Sam Bradford.

I believe it.....he should feel that way.  Schotty was horrible and never developed Sanchez much beyond what he came to the NFL as.....

Plus there is no long term direction with Shotty and the Rams.  I think Fisher got the D turned around and isn't seeing progress on the O.  I think Austin and Bailey look like long term solutions outside, Stacy and Co. look like stud backs, and now they likely take a new QB with a new offensive regime in 2015 I'd guess.  Why would mark want to come to a situation that looks short live?  Especially when next year's draft looks like it has 4-5 guys who may go rd 1 (whether they should or not is up for debate) which gives the Rams a new chance at hope.

Plus, it was the Rams that came away with a boatload of high draft picks for the Redskins to draft RG III.

Rams, Detroit, and Skins all have $2 mill or less in cap space.

There will be a cap cut before any serious trades for a QB for the Rams. Right now Sanchez and Vick aren't even options.
