We'll put any news and information about training camp here so we don't clutter the board with unnecessary threads.

The Beard (Braylon Edwards) is taking his physical today. With Holmes going on PUP, they brought in insurance. I hope he makes the 53 and shuts up all his nay sayers !

Go Jets...Cyborg

His "nay sayers" say that he isn't the same player that he was in 2010 and he's not. If he was, he wouldn't have still been on the street now.

Agree. My enthusiasm is tempered somewhat by the last part of your post. Why does a guy who's supposedly judged unfairly sitting around waiting for someone to call? I think BE can still be a serviceable player, but anyone who expects big production might be setting the bar too high. And he needs to stay healthy, too. He's 30 now.

Hells yea baby!!! Our beloved Jets report today.  Lets get this season underway as we bury 2012 deep in the depths.
I'am very pumped for this season folks.  I'am expecting big things.  Many players and coaches have their backs to the wall.  I feel they will come out firing as Idzik has built a team of money ballers who just want to show case what they got for the ultimate prize.
12-4 baby!!

I'm juiced as well to see how all of the rookie talent performs, growth of 2nd year guys and the impact of a real offensive coordinator.  12-4? Love your enthusiasm, but it would be a turnaround for the history books.  I'm hoping for a team that shows great promise in the 2nd half of the season after the 7 new starters on D start to gel and the offense figures out MM's scheme. This won't turn around overnight.

I think BE will be a big addition to our team.  No he won't catch 75 passes for 1000 yds and 10 TD's, he may not even catch 50 passes but he will be another big receiver to help out Hill and Kerley.  With Holmes on the PUP list and not knowing when he will play, we need all the help we can get.  Besides, Holmes is not a number # 1 WR's anyway and never has been.  He is a # 2 or excellent slot receiver.  Holmes played so well with us our AFC Championship year because BE was drawing all the attention.  BE was truly our number # 1 then.  Plus we had Cotchery in the slot, so Holmes had two quality receiver to help get him get the one on one looks so he could be productive.  In Pittsburgh it was the same thing, Ward draw all the attention and Holmes capitalized off it. So BE will help us big time in my view and I'm glad to have him back.

What ever happened to Sims-Walker by the way? I thought the Jets were looking at signing him at the same time they were looking at Winslow?

Thank you, I was beginning to think this day was never going get here. I read on Twitter that Milliner is signed and ready to practice in full as well.

Goodson on "Did Not report" McKnight on NFI

Non football injury

We might be looking around for a veteran if those 2 have long term issues

John Griffin also has to like that turn of events
