I'd have to say they both have long term potential. They compliment each other well-Mo is more of a run-stuffer who is improving as a pass rusher. Q is a potential sack artist who also plays the run well.

Re: Quintin Coples vs Mo Wilkerson

Wilkerson is more disciplined who fills his gap and then explodes up field to get sacks/TFLs.  His game reminds me of Shaun Ellis.

Coples is undisciplined and explodes through his gap for sacks/TFL but may give up big plays on draws and screens due to his style of play.  His game reminds me of of John Abraham (when we were in the 4-3 under Parcells).

I think they honestly both have the same long term potential, with Coples more likely to be flashy and in pro bowls annually and Wilkerson making it here or there.

If Couples shows the same improvement in his second year as Wilkerson , I'll be one happy camper... my glass half full approach says it's a tie.

Right now it's Wilkerson by a mile, he gets it. In the future I say it will be a tie once the light goes on for Coples and he puts in 100% the whole year on and off the field.

Have to go with Wilkerson, though it is close.

If I'm a Jets fan, I'm hoping the team changes to a 4-3 after drafting Shariff Floyd.

Think about the possibilites.
