Cromartie and Landry make Pro Bowl
So, CB Antonio Cromartie and S @ MrLandry30 were the only 2 Jets named to the Pro Bowl. # NYJ Pass defense ranks 2nd in NFL. # nyj

Big Wilk got super snubbed. Though i'm happy he wasn't selected as freakish accidents occur in this meaningless game.

Good for them! Mangold not making it is a sham...but should make it easier to renegotiate his deal this summer.

Sure he did-he became a huge force in the past 8 weeks. I'm more than sure the guy will be a dominant force for years to come. He hasn't even reached his ceiling yet.

Re: Cromartie and Landry make Pro Bowl
The 2-13 Chiefs have 5 Pro Bowlers. That's an indictment of their coaching/lack of qb then. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_...-pro-bowl-teams

Wonder how much it's gonna take to resign Landry now. Gotta figure the price just went up.

RE: Cromartie and Landry make Pro Bowl
Pro Bowl is a joke. Half hearted played game that nobody really cares about. Might as well have a flag football game in the states atleast. Maybe even have sone fan interaction for a good charity like puting Sancez in a dunking booth for example. Just an idea.
True test of faith is being a Jets fan

Bye bye LaRon Landry ! After being named All-Pro SS, I doubt there is a chance we can re-sign Landry. He has no love or loyalty to the Jets, just a team that offers him the best deal. Go Jets...Cyborg

RE: Cromartie and Landry make Pro Bowl
If our new GM thinks he needs to be retained we'll sign him. How much the value is I don't know but we could put a rider in the contract saying he needs to start all 16 games, etc. to receive any incentives. That would be for our cap specialist to determine.

trico990 wrote: Wonder how much it's gonna take to resign Landry now. Gotta figure the price just went up. I hope it did. We need a S that can cover as well as hit out there and that isn't Landry. All he does is hit. And he's completing a full season for only the third time in six-years. Not worth bring back for the long term at all, IMO.

And in the past 8 weeks we've been playing mostly teams that have nothing to play for and are starting QBs as bad as Sanchez. MO disappeared when we played Pit, SF, NE, Hou, and Sea, games that everyone got to see. This is the reason why he didn't make the pro bowl, IMO. That said, next year will be his year. Our LB corps will be improved and we get Revis back. Look for his numbers to skyrocket as a result.
