I would really like to see what Greg has the rest of the way to help me decide what we need to do in the off season+1Now, OLB is painfully obvious (though Thomas looked great today)...but say what you want Powell and Green looked awesome today. How much do we need to upgrade o-line and RB? I honestly haven't known because our QB play has been so bad. I don't know that McElroy fixes that...but I can't say how good our running game and o-line is but I will say it looked a hell of a lot better the second half today and can't wait to see it from here on out.
McElroy reminds me of Peyton. Not because of his skills, but because of the way he elevates the players around him.
He comes in:
All of a sudden Greene and Powell get more than 2 yards.
All of a sudden, Cumberland gets a TD and positive catches.
All of a sudden our O-line actually blocks well. Our offense was free to play because they didn't have to cringe at the thought of a drive killing INT/fumble.
