I suppose the defense "should" have a good game going against Schittenheiney. Then again, looking at the offense this year compared to past years and you might have to give Shitty some props.

Sanchez will compete between 9-12 passes. He will attempt 22-33 passes.
Schotty/Rams will beat us....They have a better QB. And, their D is just as good or better than ours.

I see the Jets coming out a bit angry and having a good first half, then turning into the Jets in the second half.
Rams 21, Jets 19 in a close one

What kind of turnovers should we expect to see in this game? Jets will have at least two.
I say Sanchez throws yet another goal line interception for one, and the second comes from strip sack.

The Strip Sack On Sanchez has really been a staple 3rd down play for us this year....

I'll have to DVR the game, that may be a blessing. The D will keep us in it, can the O score?

unless Sanchez magically starts to throw the ball sooner.....the STL pass rush will be a problem. That said, Schotty will keep the Jets in it. Maybe Westhoff pays rex back for that MIA disaster and makes the difference.

How long do you think Brian Schottenheimer O.C. has had this game circled in his daily planner ? He wants sweet revenge more than anything after the way we dished him ! Go Jets...Cyborg

RE: Game Thread - Jets @ Rams - Sun. Nov. 18 (1PM)
Do we even want to win this week? For what purpose? So we can be blow off the ball against the Pats? The team is such a mess, really what's the point, just give me the draft pick.
I mean, maybe a win gives you some mojo, and you can go out and have some type of chance against the Pats, but this team is so effed, I don't think it matter. I love Rex, really do, but this is 2 years in a row of a circus. I'll see how the team plays the rest of the way, but maybe he is better suited as just a coordinator.

Re: Game Thread - Jets @ Rams - Sun. Nov. 18 (1PM)
I wonder what nuggets of wisdom Schotty has given the Rams defense about Mark?
Maybe they don't need any, they just need to watch the tape from MOST of this season! UGH!
Hopefully, the years of our D practicing against Schotty's offensive (feel free to choose your preferred meaning of that word in this context) will payoff for us.
I actually think we will win this one. 17-9, with at least one of our TD's coming from either defense or ST.

Its hard to figure what it will take to get back on track. There is so much to comment on and little time to address. Locker room has to be divided and Rex has lost team.

Re: Game Thread - Jets @ Rams - Sun. Nov. 18 (1PM)
Call me crazy, but i still have faith in this team. Probably until they're officially out of the playoff hunt. I'am looking forward to watching this team Sunday. I think no one if giving them a shot. I just have a gut feeling this team will some how rally around what they have and make a turn for the best. They have shown in spurts this season that they can play ball when they're not making bone headed mistakes. This team could have been 5-4 right now had they made one or two plays vs Houston and the Pats. Don't wanna give up just yet folks.

Call me crazy but we're done. I wish I shared your optimism but I'm a realist. I passed the denial stage with Sanchez, Tanny, maybe even Rex. I think we lose this game-I see us beating ourselves instead of the Rams beating us. Too many self-inflicted wounds this year.

Rams block a potential Jets game winning FG in a tie game with :02 left in regulation and take it down the field for a win!

Re: Game Thread - Jets @ Rams - Sun. Nov. 18 (1PM)
Wild card play off race has the Colts and the Steelers at 6-3 The teams that are in the Hunt are: 4-6Tennessee Miami Buffalo 4-5Cincinnati San Diego The Steelers face the Ravens this week w/out a healthy Big Ben. Possibly will be w/out him in 2 weeks when these two squads re-visit each other-ADVANTAGE: Ravens. Indy plays at New England. Win Win for us right there especially having to play the Pats here at home. Cincinnati plays @ Kanasa CIty. Cheifs showed alot of resiliency vs Pittsburgh Monday night. San diego plays Denver. Manning-Nuff Said. It all starts with one game fellas. Sure we've been horrid these past two weeks {excluding the Bye}. But there is potential here folks. Ya have to have atleast some glimpse of hope. All we need is a win this week to quite possibly jump start a heroic playoff wild card spot. The way every ones schedule looks like, it may come down to the final week of the season once again to determine who's making it to the dance. This putrid record that we have can get turned around. If we can find a way to finish off the Pats next Thursday night {hoping we beat St.Louis}. we'll be 5-6 and the Pats still have a rough road ahead facing teams like Houston & San Francisco. I feel it's too early to throw in the towel. We're in the mix just like all these other teams. Down this stretch, it's all about who wants it most. IT'S BEEN DONE BEFORE, WHY NOT US?? LETS START knocking teams OUT OF contention JUST LIKE THEY'D TRIED DOING TO US!!
