Re: New York Jets @ Seattle Seahawks 4:00pm
There's only 1 way we win this game - Russell Wilson plays like Mark Sanchez (turnover prone and loose with the ball) and Mark Sanchez plays like Russell Wilson (conservative decision making, low risk taker, and high % passes).
This Seattle defense is what we were 4 years ago. It is very, very good.
My guess, Seattle 20 - Jets 10. Seattle's offense beyond Lynch isn't very good and they primarily score off turnovers. I think our D plays well coming off the bye but they'd need to practically shutout Seattle to have a chance.

People will refer to the 0'12 Seahawks Defense instead of the 85 Bears after this one.

The super-loud Seattle fans will get a week off this Sunday as Sanchez becomes their "12th Man".

RE: Game Thread - Jets @ Seahawks - Sun., Nov. 11 - 4:00pm
goooooood luck stopping Marshawn Lynch..........he'll bust the weak-ass arm tackles we've been seeing so far. That will make Russell Wilson look unstoppable. Stop the run somewhat and I give them a chance.

Re: Game Thread - Jets @ Seahawks - Sun., Nov. 11 - 4:00pm
can't say i feel too optimistic about this week. if the game were home i'd feel a lot better. seattle has always been one of the hardest stadiums to play in, and the seahawks have an excellent defense.
maybe this is the week the really break out a tebow package. need to do something to keep the aggressive seahawk defense on its heels

KFFL is reporting McKnight was walking around the Jets practice facility without a limp yesterday.

Jet brother's & sister, WOW, I can't believe the pessimism going into this game ? Ten years ago was the famous speech by Herm about,"You Play To Win The Game", and it turned a terrible 2-5 team totally around to the Playoffs. Plus this time last year, most experts felt the Hawks were one of the worst teams in the NFL, and Pete Carroll would be terminated. We are just coming off a bye week, Rex gave the team a whole week off which I felt was generous considering the way we were playing, so we should be well rested and ready to play. We have a half a season to go, with a fairly easy schedule, and no team in the AFC east has run away with the Championship or Wild Card. My point is this, I'm not ready to throw in the towel and quit on my Jets, are you ? Go Jets...Cyborg

Seahawks are undefeated at home with wins over Dallas, Packers, Patriots, and Vikings. I guess you're right. We'll probably win this week.

Go Jets...Cyborg Lol yes, we don't have a qb, we have a below par running back, sometimes our oline shows up, sometimes not, and are recievers like to drop the ball. Oh, we also didn't show up at all in a must win home game against the Dophins.

Go Jets...Cyborg i just call them like i see them. i think this is one of the 2 toughest games left on the schedule (vs NE) and don't like the matchup on the road in perhaps the hardest road venue against a greatly improved seattle defense. doesn't mean i'm throwing in the towel. as the saying goes, on any given sunday...

Go Jets...Cyborg A Ravens fan? You do know I was on this board before Hobson or broadway, or before you were likely born, right? When TVO ran the show. I lived in Valley Stream, worked for Citigroup on 111 Wall Street, and attended Jets practices with Bill Parcells (when practices were still at Hofstra). Not sure what you're talking about here. I've been a Jet fan since 6th grade...or roughly 22 years.
