Re: Undrafted free agents
Gilberry is an interesting prospect. I'm surprised he wasn't drafted. I liked what I saw from him in the few games I watched him play. Here's some more information on Gilberry: http://www.nfl.com/combine/pro...ilberry?id=1332
Gilberry led the team in quarterback sacks and tackles for loss three times during his four-year career. He would finish his career at Alabama second all-time in tackles behind the line of scrimmage (60.5), fifth on the Tide's all-time sack list (21.5) and 10th in quarterback pressures (38).
Nehemiah Warrick is a bone-crushing hitter at safety:

The problem with Warrick is he had just six passes broken up and zero interceptions in his two years at Michigan State.
Ali Highsmith signed with the Cardinals, and Erin Henderson signed with Minnesota.

The Giants also signed another defensive end, named Antonio Reynolds. I don't know anything about him.

OK, there's actually a profile of Antonio Reynolds on NFL Draft Countdown: www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scou...ioreynolds.htmlReynolds played at the University of Tennessee. His numbers aren't that impressive.

RE: Undrafted free agents
yeah I remember that hit from Nehemiah Warrick against Wisconsin LOL OUCH!
he looks for the big hit way too much, kinda remind me of Ken Hamlin when he was at Arkansas maybe Spags can work with him on playing the ball instead of just looking for someone to hit, I think he can make it especially if he can hit people like that on Special Teams

RE: Undrafted free agents
OL Glenn Bujnoch (Cincinnati)
POSITIVES: Hard-working small-area tackle who projects to guard at the next level. Quick in all aspects of his game, makes terrific use of angles and body positioning, and attacks assignments. Stays square, effectively places his hands into defenders, and keeps his feet moving. Plays with a good degree of intelligence and keeps his head on a swivel.
NEGATIVES: Struggles to adjust and beaten by quick opponents. Lacks a dominant base and does not get much movement run-blocking.
ANALYSIS: Bujnoch has been a productive and mostly durable prospect in college, yet he must improve his playing strength for any chance at the next level.
PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent

RE: Undrafted free agents
Did Erin Henderson get drafted? I remember a few months ago he was highly thought of.

RE: Undrafted free agents
Erin Henderson did not get drafted. He signed with the Vikings, his brother E.J.'s team.
The Giants signed University of Miami guard Andrew Bain. In Coral Gables Bain was a two-year starter. He is considered to be very good at pulling on trap plays, and has some experience playing tackle.
Bain is 6'3", and his weight fluctuates between 330 and 345 pounds.

RE: Undrafted free agents
The Giants signed offensive tackles Dylan Thiry and Carnell Stewart. I don't know anything about them, but I will look them up.

RE: Undrafted free agents
OK, here's something on Dylan Thiry: Made 34 starts over his four year career at Northwestern...Started the last three seasons at left tackle...Has good size and long arms...Smart with decent awareness...Durable...Isn't very strong or powerful...Needs to add more bulk and has the frame to do so...Lacks a nasty demeanor. http://sports.baltimoresun.com...bio.aspx?p=7312

RE: Undrafted free agents
OK, here's something on Carnell Stewart: SENIOR SEASON (2007) Emerged as a starter at right offensive tackle for the Tigers in 2007, starting at 14 games during LSU’s national championship season ... Saw action in a total of 955 snaps from scrimmage ... Credited with 56 knockdowns and six pancakes in 2007 ... Had season-best eight knockdowns in win over Ohio State in BCS National Championship game ... Had seven knockdowns in wins over South Carolina and against Tennessee in the SEC Championship game.

RE: Undrafted free agents
The Giants signed Alabama wide receiver D.J. Hall. I'm not surprised Hall wasn't drafted, but I thought he could have been selected in the sixth or seventh round. He put up great numbers last season for the Crimson Tide. A clutch receiver with a long, lean frame, DJ Hall was a model of consistency throughout his Alabama career. He was the first player in school history to produce a pair of 1,000-yard receiving seasons and is only the second player in Tide history to reach that lofty standard. He set new Alabama career records for receptions (194) and yards receiving (2,923) while his 17 touchdown grabs were one shy of the school's all-time mark. http://www.nfl.com/combine/pro....j.-hall?id=242

Re: Undrafted free agents
great work here soprano, i always like the undraft'd free agent pick ups, i thought the giants would have pick'd up dj hall with there last three picks in the 6th round before the trade had us lose one of our 6th's. i would like to see them bring in pedro sosa, he's pretty much in-state playing at rutgers and wouldn't be much of a drive on the garden state parkway. but glad to see dj hall get pick'd up, he has good size and speed. i think they should have taken a look at highsmith or henderson be4 they got snag'd up, i know they have some medicial concerns but would have evaluated them, cause i think henderson out of the 2 wouldn't have been a bad choice, cause he plays like he has a chip on his shoulder and would have played harder cause he has something more to prove. i think the vikings are going to laugh they stole free money with that pick up

RE: Undrafted free agents
I feel bad for Erin Henderson. He was on ESPN's First Take Friday morning talking about how he thought he was going in the third or fourth round. It has to be embarrassing for these guys who had productive college football careers.
I also like D.J. Hall. I'd love to see him make the team. Maybe he could somehow be kept on the practice squad.

RE: Undrafted free agents
Oh, and I haven't seen any team pick up Pedro Sosa yet. I'm with you on that one, Nittany.
Another guy still available is TCU's Tommy Blake, who is the defensive end version of Manny Wright. Blake was considered a top-15 prospect going into the 2007 college football season, but he left his team on separate occasions during the year because he was battling depression.
