OK wait, shouldn't that be "Burn the Bridge" and "Build the boats? Because the other mantra really sucked, and we wound up burning and not building the bridge to the next season. But,  if you build the boats, you get to where you're going, right? No one goes anywhere in a burnt boat! So, we could do "Burn the Bridge, Build the Boats", AND put up a Super Bowl clock! Yea, mantras!

Faithful Giants fan from 1967 - to whenever the Reaper comes a' callin'!

I think the point is that we are going all in on this season and when we need to get home, we can use the boats we take from Dallas, Philly, and Washington

ALL IN, ALL THE TIME!!

Re: Tom Coughlin’s new mantra for Giants is …

the reason for this "mantra" is TC has ZERO assurance from ownership that he leaves on his terms.

theres been many articles quoting tisch and mara that there is 'no given' that TC gets to leave on his own terms.

so with that in mind, TC knows he has got to storm the land, scorch the earth and there is no turning back (so burn the boats) unless it is complete victory with the opponents 'boats'.
{this sounds more out of Ninja warrior or some episode of 'thrones" than a coach, and it goes to prove the one and done theory he is playing under (believe it or not)}
