 Good list.

Can we win with that roster?
There is no 'I' in team

Kuhn over Patterson? Not so sure about that.

Is McBride injured? Cause he's on the roster 100% is he is healthy.

I think TE Xaiver Grimble could be a wild card over Donnell. Just a gut feeling.

Re: Patricia Traina predicts final 53 man squad

"As far as the receivers go, I (Traina) have my doubts about Mario Manningham being ready. Even if his knee is recovered to the point where he can practice, is he ever going to be the same player that he was during his first tour of duty with New York to justify a roster spot?

My guess is no, and since there is something intriguing about 6’4”, 214-pound Corey Washington (who happens to be the tallest of the Giants receivers), I think the rookie will build on his solid spring and crack the roster ahead of Manningham, who might start camp on the PUP list."

"I (Traina) have a feeling that Trumaine McBride, who underwent offseason hip surgery in January, according to Art Stapleton of The Record, might not be ready for camp.

Even if he is, he’d be the fourth cornerback at best despite doing fairly well as a starter last year. It makes more sense to put Zack Bowman, who’s known as a special teams ace, ahead of McBride on the depth chart."

Re: Patricia Traina predicts final 53 man squad

Im curious if Brown is kicking or if the team goes with lower price kicker ,McManus is in camp for about 1/3 the cost ,Im not advocating the change but its been mentioned, also Quarles and Kuhn were mentioned over Patterson.I dont feel overconfident about any of the listed tight ends either especially when McAdoo mentioned an inverted wishbone formation featuring the tight end, also a trip right formation which  has 2 t/es group with a wr off tackle.

  • This is tough because the offense was very, very vanilla today. I can tell you, as Robinson said last week, the TE position does move around a bit more. There was one formation which was a “trips right” featuring a WR and two tight ends bunched together near the right tackle. Also, I believe it was Donnell, lined up as a tight end before coming in motion and lining up as a full back in the backfield.

Is it possible we don't carry a fullback in this offense?  Do we have 6 roster worthy WRs?

Re: Patricia Traina predicts final 53 man squad

I think it would be crazy if Patterson didn't make the roster.    It would be a good think if Quarles, Bromley, and Kuhn are all ahead of him......but it's hard to imagine that being the case right now.   Bold call by PT.

I could see how MM might be on the PUP list.    Whether or not he has his explosiveness any more certainly will be telling......and be the difference between him making and not making the roster.    We know he can run routes and usually catch the ball.

I'm getting pretty stoked.    Amazing that our first preseason game is in 2 weeks!!!!!

Re: Patricia Traina predicts final 53 man squad

Patterson is getting first team reps at DT -- he will make the team.
