I agree, but I'm glad I stayed awake for the rest of the game!

I have to ask; why does the NFL continue to condone the antics of Jim the "raving maniac" Harbaugh? This man acts out, abuses officials, and does it for the bulk of the game every week.
I'm sick of these antics. As much as I think MLB should learn from the NFL about the pace of the action, I think the roles are reversed here in terms of the respect for the game AND the respect for the rules.
If the head coach wants to act like Erik Cartman, let him do so in the locker room.

The guy isn't behaving any differently than the thirty one other head coaches in the league.

Re: The half

Can't agree about the halftime show......I thought that was actually a pretty entertaining performance.   Might not get everyone jazzed up.....but I thought she stayed to her form and there were some interesting visual effects.

Like most games in the NFL this season.....one team starts out with a flurry.....than the other team wakes up and scores in a flurry.....and then somebody holds on towards the end.

The only thing I wonder is why Harbaugh didn't try and run the ball on 2nd and Goal with the clock running down to the two minute warning.   They were better running in those close quarters than passing.    They passed better between the 20s.   But......just getting back into that game was a pretty amazing accomplishment.

I won't lie......didn't want Ray Lewis to win in his last game......still harbor ill will towards the Ravens more than I do the Niners.    So I'm not thrilled with this outcome..............and so the offseason begins!

I'm a young guy (mid 20s) and I didn't mind the halftime show last year or this year. Both were much better than anything else in recent years.

RE: The half

I enjoyed the halftime show. First of all, Beyonce is extremely attractive. Second, it was a good show overall, very lively. It was better than some ancient rock stars. I love classic rock music (The Who, Stones, Zeppelin, Floyd, etc) but those guys are simply old now and I prefer they don't perform any more Super Bowl halftimes.

I think its a demographic thing for the most part. I don't think I've ever seen Beyonce perform in my life, but I did enjoy the show. Her "looks" had a lot to do with it too. haha.

The game was okay, nothing special, and I'm glad that SF now has lost a Super Bowl.

Good teams rely on their stars,
Great teams rely on each other.

The show isn't about sexy...omg come on guys
the sound was terrible.

Madonna's was much better...more entertaining
and The Who had the ENTIRE SB rocking and the
light show was incredible...THAT was a SB halftime
show.

At least I got this one... (: lol yup Demographic it is.

The half time show was actually very good. And no, she did not lip sync. Yes there was background recording, but she for the most part sang everything when your lips were moving.

While the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers compete to hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy this weekend, eco-friendly fans and city leaders in New Orleans are competing to maximize sustainability practices to the fullest.

To make this the greenest Super Bowl, the New Orleans Host Committee has partnered with fans and the community to offset energy use across the major Super Bowl venues. The exterior of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome features more than 26,000 LED lights on 96 full-color graphic display panels, designed to wash the building in a spectrum of animated colors, patterns and images. The system draws only 10 kilowatts of electricity -- equivalent to the amount of energy used by a small home -- and the lights are expected to last for many years before needing replacement.

RE: The half

wasn't anything wrong with the Halftime Show one bit, I am more of a Bruce Springsteen and Prince type of guy myself and hopefully Bon Jovi gets to do Halftime in New York that would be cool even though the weather is probably going to suck, but those (Prince and Springsteen) are still my favorite Halftime Shows Ever but Beyonce is probably now a close 3rd

Would much rather watch something young and attractive dancing around the stage compared to some 60 year old woman in Madonna dancing around the stage like she is still in her 20's or some Old Band that looks like the Zombies from The Walking Dead with instruments in their hands looking like they are on the verge of death lol

More importantly the game end up being a good one!
