I am with you 100%. Cannot stand the guy. They cover him like he is the best player in the league. I was hoping Denver would send him off to retirement, but the NFL had other plans.
ALL IN, ALL THE TIME!!

Count me in as well. I think TV should not shine on a person who dodged a double homicide charge.

Rumor has it he's going to join ESPN next season. So expect ESPN to really inflate the "Retirement" story to Tebow-like levels.

One of my favorite Giants game EVER was when we blew the doors off the Ravens in 2008 and ran for 300 yards on this loser and their defense. It was fantastic. What's worse......this guy won't be going away since he is pretty much heading straight to the cable sports networks. Lord help us. I also agree with Reggie Wayne. Wayne can say it, too, since he is a fellow member of 'the U'. I get it a little bit on your own field.....but maybe do it after the game is over....not on the field of play, making a spectacle of yourself.

After this season if I never heard his name again that would be ok with me, same goes for the eagles QB.

True Cashus, just sick of his spheal in the media. The Giants sure could use a leader like him on defense.

There are other players who announce they will retire at the end of the season/playoffs and don't make a spectacle of themselves; instead, they handle it with class: Tony Gonzalez, for example.
I've had enough of Lewis' religious preacher stuff as well. I really wish ESPN and NFL Network would cover him less, but Lewis seems to crave and encourage the attention. At the end of the Broncos game, right after the winning field goal, Lewis again made a spectacle of himself.
I'll be rooting for the Patriots (I'm assuming they will advance past the Texans) to knock off the Ravens in the AFC Championship game. If Ray Lewis ever gets to the Super Bowl, we will be bombarded with even more coverage of this guy. You know what I hate? Peanut Butter.

Re: NGT: am I the only one sick of Ray Lewis?
I'm sick of him too, but can't root for the Pats. Best scenario, Ravens win next week and Ray pulls a hammy during his ridiculous postgame dance, and he misses the Super Bowl.
