I am not a fan of these celebrations. Act like you've been there before(actually a Lombardi quote copied by Parcells).

RE: Hynoski TD Celebration
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the celebrations (though I think Cruz's is about what should be acceptable), but in this case it's the guy's first TD ever, and he's nicknamed the Hynocerous or whatever, so let him have fun.

I didn't like the celebration at all -- Hynoski showed me that he has no class.

LOVE THAT GUY! Glad he finally got his damn Touchdown!
Don't mind the TD Celebrations at all regardless who it is from as long as it doesn't slow down the game or something over the top

RE: Hynoski TD Celebration
It is a "look at me" game in the NFL. I like the college rule where all this stuff gets flagged. Also in college it s a spot foul. If someone gets flagged at the two for excessive celebration there is no touchdown and the ball goes out to the seventeen. Maybe I'm just too old and not into making the game ghetto. CTGiant wrote:

I don't like the Wilson celebration at all. It is my understanding that the Giants organization doesn't like it either. The problem with Hynoski was the timing. The game was long over, the TD was totally meaningless. The Bears win wasn't yet official, but the Lions never win games like that, and the Giants were on the verge of elimination. Thus, based on the timing, the celebration was classless. Hynoski is a decent FB, however. Also, the Eagles weren't playing all that hard and are one of the worst teams in the NFL this year. The Eagles defense is in shambles. Save the celebration for a more competitive moment.

I dont know Sage, I kinda liked it, although I am not a big fan of the TD celebrations, IMO if your a RB, QB, TE or WR your job is to make plays and score TDs, now of a defensive player scores then I think its ok, its kind of like a bonus. With that being said, I can see the Giants marketing plastic rhino horns next year, and on the off chance he scores again the entire stadium can put them on and do the "Hynoski Hustle".

I can understand the animosity if he did it all the time. It's his first career TD. He was celebrating the moment. He may not get too many opportunities to do that "dance" again. He's a grinder. He's one of those guys you never hear about. He plays hard and is never a problem. Hardly a "Look at me" type. Its almost the equivalent of an Olinemen scoring a TD. Those guys can celebrate any way they want to as far as I'm concerned. He's earned it.

Re: Hynoski TD Celebration
Are you guys who are criticizing this being serious? I for one like that our guys have some confidence and a little bit of swagger. If our team just had players who tossed the ball to the ref, and then lightly jogged back to the sideline I would probably get upset based on our team having zero emotion.
Also, every single person who said this is "classless" would have lost their minds and done probably the stupidest dance/reaction ever done for a TD celebration if they had caught scored their first TD in an NFL game.
He wasn't showing up the other team. What he did was fine and totally acceptable. Like Eddie said, some of you need to lighten up.

Him celebrating a touchdown should have nothing to do with the timing of the game or the Eagles being absolutely terrible. Do you really think the Eagles cared he celebrated? Who cares if a player celebrates in the endzone after a touchdown? If you don't want someone celebrating a touchdown, don't let them get into the end zone and score. There is no rule in the NFL stating that any form of celebrating after a scored touchdown is a penalty. He did nothing wrong. Lay off the guy.

But I do have a problem with guys who make a 1st down catch or a sack or a tackle for loss and go into a 10 second dance routine about it.

Re: Hynoski TD Celebration
Guys the kid makes an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent. He does all the dirty work for AB and Wilson and from what I understnd is a great kid and teammate.
Let him have his fun. It's not like he did it in front of any of the Eagles or directed it to them.

This was a great TD celebration. I miss the Barry Cofield "Don't tase me bro" sack dance.

Re: Hynoski TD Celebration
Just a case of sour grapes. If the Giants were on their way to playoffs no one would have a problem with celebration. I think the resentment comes from the disappointment of the season ending like it did. I didn't have problem with celebration. Guy worked hard all year at thankless job. Let him have some fun....
