Assuming the Giants don't make it, who are you going to root for

Assuming the Giants don't make it, who are you going to root for

In the AFC, I think I'll probably root for Cincinnati and Denver. Mostly I just don't want New England back in there. I really am sick of that team, just like I was of the 49ers teams in the 80s and into the 90s. How long can one team have great seasons each and every year? Somebody knock those turkeys out of it before they get back to the big game yet again...please?!

In the NFC, I'm pulling for Washington. I know, I know, most of you will kill me for saying that, but its true. They're exciting and young and energetic and I looooove London Fletcher. I want him to get another ring. I also would love to see Seattle go far. That is one exciting team to watch. Go Seahawks!

Good teams rely on their stars,
Great teams rely on each other.

I am in the "Anyone but New England" camp. Cannot stand them. I lived in Maine most of my life so I had to hear constantly how "wicked freakin awesome" the Pats are.

In the NFC I am rooting for the Skins or Seattle. Mostly because neither team has been relevant in forever. And of the teams in the NFC East, I have never had close to the loathing and utter disdain for the Skins that I have for the Cowpies and Iggles.

But we all know the Giants are going to win and the Boys, Vikings and Bears are all going to lose, setting the stage for a Giants miracle run at a repeat SB!!  Who's coming with me!?!?!  eek1

Denver, I just like the way Peyton goes about his business. I really wish Eli had a little bit of Peyton's fire.

In the NFC, I would root for the Bears if they make it. They were the first team I liked back in 85'-86' as a kid with the SB shuffle and all.

If they don't make it, I will be rooting for the Seahawks.

If not the Giants this season.

Minnesota/Chicago, Houston, Baltimore, Cincy.  Nobody should be openly rooting for the division foes unless it helps us.  In this case the only time i'll be rooting my *** off for the Skins on Sunday night

Guess I'm more of a Giants fan than a football fan so no one.  Other than if the Cowboys get in hoping Romo has a complete melt down and they get crushed their first game I'll just have a passing interest.

Hard to root against Denver in the AFC. Seahawks and Vikings are feel good stories in the NFC.

Washington because of my wife :)

If the Giants don't make it, why root?
I've given up enough unrewarding time on Sundays (since November) as it is.
There are better things to do with the life I have left than to see how far the Seahawks or Bengals go.
Perfect Peyton, Superman Brady, and the once-in-a-lifetime-unbelieveable-miracle-come-to-E arth RGIII can do fine without me.
OK, fine, I'll admit it. This season just left me too disappointed and bitter to care about who lifts the Lombardi.
That was a nice dream when we were 6-2 and looked like a professional football team.

Faithful Giants fan from 1967 - to whenever the Reaper comes a' callin'!

I'm not necessarily rooting for anyone (I will root against New England), but I would be very interested to watch the following match ups (and I know they can't all happen)

1.  RG3 vs 49ers defense.

2.  Seattle vs San Fran (after that last beat down)

3.  Denver vs New England

4.  RG3 vs Seattle defense

Re: Assuming the Giants don't make it, who are you going to root

I'm a football fan and I can't think of any reason I won't be rooting for some team in every game , I also can't believe that the answer would be nobody , then why do you watch Sunday night ans Monday night Football.
At this piont I know if Dallas gets in i will root for anyone playing them, I will also root for the Colts , Sometimes in a playoff game one team p's me off and I change sides during the game. When the SB comes around I nearly always root for the NFC team and I root just has hard for the team i want to win as i do for the Giants the difference is when the game is over my rooting is over and I'm over it.
