I understand the criticism of Gilbride but blaming everything on him is asinine. The OL is below average (and I hope Cordle's play today makes people at least appreciate Snee), and Eli has regressed this season. He looks like < 2008 out there. Sometimes he looks good, sometimes he reminds me of Dave Brown.
A OC is not going to make a difference right now. Ask the Ravens.

He is OLD! Giants need a young creative mind on that Senior Citizen Group Of A Coaching Staff everything we do is old fashion and SAFE, we don't do anything...BOLD offensively

It did appear to me that Atlanta knew what we were going to run. That is certainly an indictment of the coaching. Coaches can't simply rely on what worked in the past, they MUST move with the cheese in the NFL.
But there was plenty of blame to go around in this game. Who played/coached well? Chase Blackburn did okay. Wilson had some decent efforts when he was allowed to get the ball. Anyone else?
Everyone else didn't even show up.

Many have critiqued KG for yrs for unimaginitive, predictable play calling...they're correct if you've seen the games...today is an other evidence of that when we repeadedly use what our game day conf call crew calls the "Meggett Play"..ie shotgun draw. Must be easy for defenses to gameplan for the Giants. Why didn't we use Wilson on screens, wheel routes etc. since he's our fastest RB? When we ran a "trick play" (un KGlike) , it went to Lumpkin vice Wilson,,then Lumpkin promptly fumbles...ugh. It's not all on KG as all 3 phases were stinko today...DL and OL..where were they? Eli? Yikes? Tynes slumping? We're still in it...go beat the Ravens...Go Giants

This thread should be penciled. I am absolutely disgusted of the way we played today. The offense had no flow and the game calling was way too predictable. We had 3 shotgun draws trying to get a first down. Come on now! That is just pathetic. We didn't utilize Cruz and get him in the flow. We also didn't pass enough as well. Wilson was having a good game and Killdrive decides to put Lumpkin into the game. I am speechless and frustrated and Kevin Killdrive needs to go.

I've seen every game since 1961..this was a flashback to the woeful mid 1960s to 1981...although a lot of those teams played hard, didn't have talent...today, I didn't see any passion in the players..Skins seem to have that and have a great shot at the div

I'm going to play devil's advocate. I put this loss more on ELi than i do on KG. The past few weeks I've seen Eli throw picks were he's forcing a deep throw rather than throwing to an open reciever short were we could've just picked up a 1st down. He's playing like Brett Farve and looking to make a big play on every pass rather than taking what defense gives him. That was the exact opposite of what he did in the 2 playoff runs. Don't put the defense on a shortfield and don't give momentom to the other team. This team goes as Eli goes and I'm pretty sure if I check the stats te past few weeks I would see that he played well in the wins and played bad in the losses. I can't think of any game this year were Eli played well and we lost.

OL was totally out physicalled..especially w/Snee down...my concern starting the season was OL...major weakness IMHO...that said Eli was still poor, add in 2 picks, lousy STs play (Tynes), no pass rush, poor def covg and you get thrashed..embarassing..been thru games like this way too many times..Go Giants
