Love it! Treat every game like a sock on the jaw.
Go Giants!

RE: Its hunting season...
Ha, all Eagles fans have is their dominance over the Giants. The Giants, in the meantime, have won so many Championships and so much glory that the Eagles aren't even a main concern of ours anymore.
Good teams rely on their stars, Great teams rely on each other.

They obviously concern some Giants fans enough that they have to fantasize about beating 'em.

For example, true fantasy would be the Eagles winning a Super Bowl. Correct. It would be. See how easy that was? Now, was that pic inaccurate or a Giants fantasy? BTW. A disappointed optimist and a vindicated pessimist both end up with the same result. Why would you prefer to be one rather than the other?

We forgive you. We understand that you have to grasp at small victories because you never have had and have no hope of large victories.

You have no idea how much that means to me. And I agree that beating the Giants is a small victory. After all, we do it so often that it's becoming a tradition for us. Although if you can't even manage to win the next game, against basically our practice squad, the meltdown on this board will be epic in scope. Especially if your playoff hopes are riding on it. It'll be quite amusing to watch. BTW, you still haven't explained why you'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist when both result in the same outcome. The pessimist seems to come out better in the end to me.

Because when you are an optimist you are always upbeat and sometimes your optimism is justified and the great thing you were hoping for happens. Something an Eagles fan has no experience with.

The pessimist seems to come out better in the end to me. If you consider 19-17 off a no-call PI and subsequent missed FG a beating, that explains how pathetic your franchise and fan base have become. You have a "tradition" of beating the Giants? Well let's see: They have met exactly 160 times the Giants have a mere 86-72-2 edge over the Eagles..so PLEASE keep the tradition going!! Your franchise hasn't won a title in 52 years (and counting)...the closest you've come to winning a Superbowl was that nailbiter where your QB blew his Chunky Soup all over his huddle en route to choking it away. The Giants have 8 NFL Titles, including 4 Superbowl titles with the 2 most recent won by our current QB/2x SB MVP who DOESN'T choke in BIG games. Flame on THAT! LOSER!
