Games on TV & online links

Games on TV & online links

During season this site lists what games local TV stations are broadcasting.  As the game week advances and local channels make changes this site updates the listing.  Also lists pre season games at top (even though all PS are on NFL network some are tape delayed and you can see what local channel also has the game if in market).  Tells you who is announcing too.

I've used this site for years and found this to be very accurate info and now has other sports (used to be just football).

For a couple states that hate the Vikings.
ND and SD have a lot of channels broadcasting them.

Agree and its always been that way. During Favre year our local fox/nfc channel carried Vikings as secondary to cowboys and if cowboys played different time slot we got Vikings. Once we started doing poorly and when Bradford was drafted by Rams they became secondary. Hoping for a resurgance so maybe next year we can get Vikes again.

Why do you say these states "hate" the Vikings??  I don't understand that comment at all.  There are tons of fans here, and there are 22 radio stations in the two states that carry Vikings games.  Broadcasters wouldn't be doing that if there weren't Vikings fans here.  There might be one Packers station now, one Chiefs station, and Broncos you can count on one hand. No other teams on the radio.  The "haters" might be more vocal, and western South Dakota tends to go more towards the Broncos, but I would bet the single biggest fan base in North Dakota, anyway, is the Vikings.

That was a reference to a recent thread showing a map of every state's most hated team.  It's on the 2nd page now but here's the link.

Nfl's preseason live. 20 bucks and you can watch the games live or stream them later on your own time. preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/secure...ign=Prod_PL_Nav

If you have Cox Cable's NFL Network (Sports Pak2) you can get online streaming on your pc and an app for mobile devices. I just ordered it so that is all I know at this time.

Re: Online viewing preseason games

really, how can you beat $20 for all the preseason games?  I consider the package from the NFL a steal.  You can watch any game you want at any time.

vipbox.tv

Best online streaming site I have found so far.  Very little lag and decent video quality.  You can use this site to watch anything you want sports related.  Also it has live TV streams so you can watch ESPN or the news if you want.

You just have to click on the little X's to close out the pop up ads when you first upload the stream.  After you close them out click the game to full screen and you are set.

Re: Online viewing preseason games

just signed up and it works!!!  $14.99.  Quality is amazing although I'm on a decent connection at our office.  I turned it on the best connection and at least on my computer screen its easily HD.  My connection at my house is a tad faster so I'm hoping when I hdmi my computer into the big screen it'll look decent.

Did a speed check at http://www.speedtest.net/

41.77mbps just in case you want to see if yours might work the same.

Now I gotta figure out how to get it for the regular season.  I've been doing firstrowsports.eu

Decent connection but the quality sucks.  I've done the whole Direct TV thing and I got sick of paying $200+ on top of a bloated cable bill.

We live to far away from a major city to get over the air.  We went with Dish "weclome package".  They don't advertise it on the website.  You buy your equipment, its in standard def, with no DVR but its $20/mo no comitment, everyday price.  Not some teaser rate.  We've had it for 3 yrs now at $22/mo (2 for tax)

Bump for those wanting to check their local listings.

Also NFL channel will televise every pre season game but can be 1 or more days after game. Some they will telecast live or join live after the preceding game. So get your dvrs set.

It's complete nonsense of course. The Vikings are the favorite team of both states by a big margin.
