Colt Brennan to Miami Dolphins
Should the Dolphins Colt Brennan from Hawaii?? I think they should and will. Because with him and Ted Ginn should be a dynamic duo.
Should Colt Brennan go to the DOLPHINS

There a few QB's i like in later rounds. Flacco and Ainge in the 3rd or one of several SEC QB's later.

If Miami does draft a system QB with almost no chance of making it in the NFL, at least take the kid from Texas Tech.

I am afraid we are going to hear Chad Henne's name bandied about in the next few weeks.

I know the gator defense isnt the steal curtain, but he probably has the best physical tools of any qb in the draft, it's just the thing between the ears that needs work, and after he read an SEC defense like a book id say it's better than advertised. If anyone should be impressed with henne it should be a gator.

If you look above i said they weren't the best defense around. But its still an SEC defense which are usually well respected.
Did you see what the same Chad Henne did against the Buckeyes? He was a deer in the headlights against them this year. Less than 100 total yards. Henne had a shoulder injury the last few games and couldn't get anything on the ball. Look at how well he threw the ball when healthy throughout his career.
Lloyd Carr simply outcoached Urban Meyer. It was not Chad Henne. No, Ron English outcoached Urban Meyer bringing pressure and playing man on that spread offense, which will soon be the blueprint for stopping it. Chad Henne called all the plays at the line for the game on offense. NO to Chad Henne. Yes to either Adrian Arrington or Mario Manningham. Yes to all three, Physically Henne is the best qb available and those two recievers are just freaks.

Re: Colt Brennan to Miami Dolphins
Brian Brohm is very consistent against many different defenses and would fit good in the Dolphins system... When healthy Brohm is one of the best play callers in the nation. He has a Tom Brady swagger with a Carson Palmer-like arm. He's big and strong and makes sound decisions for his team. However, he has a downside that the other top quarterback's don't and that's durability. He appears to be relatively fragile and that could scare teams away from taking him high in the first round of the draft. He's built like a twig, and I suspect once he goes to the combine, we will see 6'3 is an exaggeration. regardless, he is garbage. why cant people wrap their heads around it? he plays in a run&shoot against weak competition. He finally played someone, and looked what happened.

Re: Colt Brennan to Miami Dolphins
Not really a fan base, Matt Ryan just projects to be the best NFL quarterback IMO.
I came to that conclusion in September.
Next year I'm sure I'll give an opinion on who projects to be the best NFL quarterback in that draft too, and the year after...so on.
Matt Ryan passed Brohm in most scouting reports/mocks, etc. a month or so ago.
I said he would be a top 5 pick in September, I was in the minority then.

Re: Colt Brennan to Miami Dolphins
I think that Brohm projects as the best qb minus the durability. It seems like both will be atleast decent starting quaterbacks, but i definitely like brohm much more than Ryan. As for Brennan I think he will be good in the NFL given time because he has excellent arm strength and accuracy. That is just my opinion, but I don;t think that you can judge what he will be like in the NFL by the bowl game. Last time i checked NFL o lines don't get man handled by three man fronts like Hawaiis did on more than one occasion during the game. It is impossible for a quaterback to disect a defense that can drop 8 into coverage still get a good pass rush. The entire first half offensivelly for Hawaii can be summed up by Brennan getting hit over and over again and it was not like he was holding onto the ball that long. Anybody could have a bad game after taking that abuse and having that little time consistently.

Yeah he finally played someone but I would say it was more his offensive line getting ripped apart by Georgia's "D" then it was Colt having a bag game.
