Tannehill on the rise.....

Tannehills qbr has increased dramatically.it went from 86.5 against ari . To 92.3 against cinci. To 112 against st. Louis. It's not like these are pumped up stats either.we are two and one in our last three.Check this out.

39.0 against Houston
91.0 against Oakland
50.2 against jets
86.5 against ari
92.3 against cinci
112.0 against st. Louis
If you take away the jet game and the second quarter against Houston it's pretty impressive what he's doing.

He is steadily improving. We are in good hands with the coaching staff and the QB.

It's just amazing how error free Tannehill has played in the last 3 games.

Outgained 462 to 192, I'm still wondering how we won this one.

Things balance out. We "should" have won 2 others but didn't.

Now there's a logjam in the AFC East.

It's hard to argue what Tannehill has done.  He has far exceeded even the most optimistic expectations.  He's done all of this with probably the worst receiving corp in the NFL.  I can't wait to see what he can do if we get a couple more weapons for him.

Its a great time to be a Phin Phan:

Tannehill completing 60% of his passes average 240+ yards/game. I think the OL is playing very well, giving up 11 sacks this season. I hate saying that the Phins WR's and TE's are worst in the league cause they are playing well.

I hope he stays for at least two more years as well. The difference in this team this year, is Tannehill's play and the coaching. The coaching this year is the best the Phins have had in years. I think in two years the Phins should have play makers at the skilled position to challenge for a ring.

RE: Tannehill on the rise.....

to do this with limited talent at the skills position is very very positive
hats off to him ! ! i didnt think he was ready and thought he would get killed behind our off line
how wrong i can be !!

anyone who was thinking that it was only the rams we played last game ?
here are some good ready stats

the Rams have held opposing quarterbacks to a combined passer rating of 72.8.

Performances were as follows:

Matt Stafford: 32/48 355yds 1td 3int - passer rating 69.4

Robert Griffin: 20/29 206yds 1td 1int - passer rating 86.3

Jay Cutler: 17/31 183yds 0td 1int - passer rating 58.9

Russell Wilson: 17/25 160yds 0td 3int - passer rating 45.8

Kevin Kolb: 28/50 289yds 0td 0int - passer rating 72.9

Ryan Tannehill: 21/29 185yds 2td 0int - passer rating 112.0

In the five games played prior to facing the Dolphins, the Rams' pass defense had been phenomenal, allowing just two touchdowns and intercepting opposing QBs 8 times. Coming into the game, the Rams had allowed a combined passer rating of just 66.6

Seeing his recent struggles as HC of Green Bay and TA&M and that he and Philbin go way back, I wouldn't be surprised to see him stay for quite a few years...
