When I have gone to this scout forum for the last week, it has taken me to the new Fox site. I HATE THE HELL OUTTA THAT SITE. I see that only a few of us have signed in over there. 

Anyway, I log in today and now we are suddenly back to this site. I see the game thread from yesterday and now realize that it didnt redirect everyone to the new site. Does anyone have any idea what is happening here?

I pray that Fox comes to its senses and leaves this site as is, I notice that most of the people on the new sites have done nothing but complain and I sent a VERY nasty email to the editors.

BTW... I predicted the win yesterday on the other site 

The NCSU site switched back to the old format (Scout) last night. And it sounds like it is permanent as the new deal was hated by all fan bases. I see it appears we have lost those posts, too.

This was the only that I keep getting too. Never even knew there was another one.

Scout is officially coming under the purview of Fox Sports, so it's NOT your imagination, Trim, & a LOT of folks are hatin' it. Rather than try & explain it (badly) myself, here's a post they made in our Publisher Forum (hope this helps explain it & hopefully things will stay as-is for the most part):

"I'm giving everybody a heads up. It looks like the new network-wide site redesign, all the webpages and forums, should be ready to go sometime in August. The site name will change from Scout.com to FOXSportsNEXT. I'm not sure how many of you knew this but we are actually owned by FoxSports. That's part of the reason for the name change.

Just so you know, you won't have to do anything as far as your usernames and passwords are concerned. They will remain the same. Everything will be moved over so there will be nothing for you to do.

Some things I like, and I think you guys will like, about the forums is the fact that there is spell check and a search function on them. There will be additional features as well that I think you will like such as being notified by emal when someone responds to a post of yours. You can turn that feature on or off; it's your choice. As I learn more about the forums, I'll let you guys know things that I think you will like about them.

As for the webpage itself, although there are a lot of things I like about the redesign as an administrator, there are several things that you have been asking for for a long time, including a a link at the top of the page for baseball. I'll now have the ability to add that. In fact, I can add whatever sports link that I want to add at the top of the page. Also, the video player that we will use will allow everybody to watch all the video on any device that you use to watch video on my page or any Scout.com page, including an iPad and an iPhone. That's something that a lot of you have been asking for. Another feature that you will like is we will have a mobile version of the page for those of you who read the page on your iPhones. Also, another feature that I personally like is the ability to put more stories on the front page. We no longer will be limited to four. I'll also be able to make my photos larger in my photo galleries. That will allow you to see the details of the photo much better than you now can."

I tried getting on the Fox site but I was frozen out.  Didn't try after.  When does THIS one shut down permanently?

I don't think any of them are "shutting down" per se, just taking on a new form with some extra features.
I know nothing for certain & they've been very vague, but that's my best guess.
Plus they said all this transition crap was to take place in August & here it is October....so if that tells you anything (smh)
