Rookie Jarvis Landry may have the best hands on the team, but first-year wide receivers rarely produce leading numbers.Tannehill may be held back (again) by the talent around him.On defense, the front four will once again be very good, but at linebacker there are concerns now that Koa Misi is in at middle linebacker and Philip Wheeler is still starting on the weak side. It may not be long before Jordan Tripp is in the lineup for good. The secondary play is good and has potential to be even better with Jamar Taylor and Walt Aikens in the mix, but the Dolphins aren't yet good enough to overcome New England in the AFC East.
Stephen Ross...ur an assclown.Sell the Dolphins immediately before you completely wreck this franchise.

I do see that most of the rating sites have us ranked lower than I thought they would, thought we would be middle of the pack and were not, were bottom feeders. You may be right about 6-10, but receivers won't be the cause we now have one of the deepest receiving corp's in the league. Not many if any receivers have Wallace's speed he is the fastest guy on the football field anymore, your right to think that he's not the best receiver though. If used right he still is a valuable player and could put up staggering numbers, in the least he could be used to clear certain parts of the field for others, he takes a CB and safety wherever he does goes, 1 low and 1 high. Doubt there are many receivers that do that. Sure were overpaying Wallace but if we didn't he wouldn't be here. Hartline is solid, he 2 x 1000 plus yard's it's a bit more than solid he is one of the best if not the best #2 receiver in the league, Gibson was looking strong mid-season last year, Matthews looks even better this year, Landry is going to get a lot of playing time for a Dolphin rookie, Armon Binns, Damin Williams. Cut to 53 is going to be tough on the receivers and more than a few will be picked up by other teams.Linebackers - I'll take a wait and see... Thought we should of picked up one in the 1st round but they were gone by the time we picked. Still could be a solid unit if Misi can handle the middle. Both Ellerbe and Wheeler going into there 2nd year here I hope that help's. Jelani Jenkins going into his 2nd year and Dion Jordan will help when he makes it back.Secondary could be special this year, Cortland Finnegan looking like a steal. Davis and Taylor healthy and going into there 2nd year helps.D-line got better and wasn't trying all that hard AJ Francis looks much improved and the undrafted FA pickup Anthony Johnson I've heard more than 1 sports writer say he will be a starter on this line at some point. Mitchell for Soliai gives them a more traditional DT front will see what happens and exactly who get rotated in. Very good debt here. Ends - Jordan looking bigger, Vernon another year and praise from Albert, added Terrance Fede who I hear is decent...RB - Miller is bigger and stronger than last year, did notice at the end of last season he was running harder into the line even if he wasn't going anywhere... Moreno don't really know what to expect from him.. 2 rookies Williams and Darkwa could give Gillisee a run for his money..O-line is a bit scary and probably the reason for the drop in ranking, but there is reason to be optimistic for the 1st time in 3 years we have a true zone blocking line.... it will take time for them to jell but the foundation is set. This year like last year and the year before depend on Tannehill and how far his development has come and his knowledge of Lazor new offense. Were only going as far as he can take us....Need to score points - 10 points per game better than last year at miniumgut 10-6 hoping were better - I've got Dolphin blinders though...

This ^ And too early for me to make predictions, usually do that after the preseason and before the start of the season. From evaluation, seeing them in action, and possible injuries with our players and around the league.Remember Keller? Last year my curve said we needed to be 10-6, but after Keller went down in the pre-season I went with an expectation of 8-8. Which turned out correct but I still call it lucky because if you told me what else was going to happen in the future with the Oline scandal and whatnot I would have said 4-12, lol. Speaking of predictions, reading through that thread I saw Warren Sapp's prediction that Tannehill would break Dan Marino's 1984 record. LOL I'm guessing Warren Sapp won't be participating in this thread. We've got a pretty awesome WR corps now this year, tho, so who knows, maybe his prediction was only a year off.
