Moreno off PUP

Just heard it on NFL Network.

Time to make up for a lot of lost time.

If I really hated him, I wouldn't have posted this topic

If you really liked him, you would admit that your medical opinion about his "ACL" was way off base..

You're just trying to get a jump on your own damage control. LOL.

Re: Moreno off PUP

Ta-da.  See TDF.  The mere mention of his name...

As to the ridiculousness that he posted...  The last Moreno thread was shut down.  I suggest you read it.  At NO point did I say Moreno had ACL surgery.  I called it a procedure because it was a clean-up.  And then I told you and people of ur ilk that I had never used the word "procedure" on this board in 9000+ posts.  THEN I gave you a link to NDL.com and CBS Sports where THEY called it a "surgery".
Seem what you REFUSE to get over is the fact that I research FAR more than you do.  Does it REALLY make sense that I would think Moreno would have surgery to repair a torn ACL and would be back this year?  Of course it doesn't.  But don't let THAT get in the way of you falling all over yourself trying to catch me on ANYTHING.

I would be embarrassed if I was you.  But you cant see that.  So I guess you'll just continue to post your distinct brand of nonsense.  Don't think I wont be here to let you know when I smell one of ur posts.

Re: Moreno off PUP

You said he had a major ACL injury. Please stop trying to re-write your own words.

The Sentinel reported that Moreno was off the PUP and looking very lean and trim. He isn't likely to play Friday, and didn't participate in full team drills but it looks like he will start participating in full practice over the next couple of days. 3 exhibition games to get the playbook from his head to his hands and feet. Let's see what he can do now that he is healthy again.

Show me the quote where I said he had major ACL surgery this season.  We will have a friendly wager.  Produce the quote saying that  I said he had "major ACL surgey" this offseason and I wont post until the first game of the season.  Ehen you cant, You don't post until week 1.   THat goes for wanny too.
Don't give me "I'm the Admin".  Marx has the same powers as you.  bals is a MOD.  You can discipline from behind the scenes.  Just no posts outta you and wanny if he is sooooo sure of himself too.

Re: Moreno off PUP

Not this again....

Let's not go around and around with words again on this.  I think this stems from confusion as to who is talking about what and when, as in talking about 2011 and 2012 and someone else thinks they are talking about 2014, etc.

From what I know Moreno had a torn ACL at the end of 2011, then he had arthroscopic after 2012, and he had arthroscopic again just now before this season started.  I have yet to see anything saying there was an actual injury, it would seem to me the same procedure he had now was the same sort of thing he had done in 2012, what I would guess would be scar tissue build up that can hurt etc but I haven't seen anything about an actual tear or injury since 2011.

And yes I said procedure, even though they are all surgeries, they are "surgical procedures"......this is where we start having fun with words where we could say 2011 was surgery and 2012 and 2014 were procedures, but they ALL constitute as surgical procedures.  From what I've seen thus far everywhere, which is all I can go off of, is this was a mntnc surgical procedure as opposed to an oh s*** something broke/popped/snapped surgical procedure.  Hopefully that ends up still being the case.  Now begins the hurry up and catch up offseason, while at the same time take it easy and don't try to go too fast, that every orthopedic surgeon and rehab goes through when it comes to an every day active patient all the way to a pro sports athlete.  And nobody wants to make the wrong call.  Hurry up but not too fast.

Re: Moreno off PUP

Moreno will be ready for the start of the season and will push Lamar Miller for the starting job, unless reports of Miller running stronger are true and his 15lb's of muscle help him become a more powerful runner.

Daniel Thomas better be figuring out his life after football, because Gillislee is flashing while carrying the rock and the Undrafted Rook from Oklahoma is a playmaker who has impressed thus far. If they continue to trend that way during the exhibition games, then Thomas will be gone.

"He still needs to recover from surgery and THEN not only lose the weight that he brought with him to Miami, but lose any that he gained while being inactive."

Then in the next post wrote:

"How can you compare a calf injury to a player at the START of his carreer to an ACL to a player at the END of his career?  That's not apples to apples in the slightest.

He can still come back from this, but hes gonna have to get some lucky breaks.  And like Ive said all along, our expectations need to be tempered.  We aren't gonna get the production DEN got last year".

In a post after he was called out, he backtracked and said "If you two aren't smart enough to figure out like everyone else that the procedure was a clean--up from his previous surgery, then then Im not even debting anything you two anymore."

No specific mention of the injury happening in 2011 in his previous posts. In fact, his initial reference to the ACL injury at the END OF HIS CAREER, meant right now. Meaning after the Dolphins signed him. After he was called out on it, he made the post about how OBVIOUS it was that he was referring to the 2011 situation, even though he was in the league for his 2nd year at that point and was far from at the END OF HIS CAREER.

This is the last time I discuss this topic. There's the evidence and proof. Twist it any way you like and try to cover your tracks but it's all there for everyone to read. As for your bet I won't take it because I don't need to do such silly childish things to prove a point.  Trying to call me out on the boards, not a good idea either. So you and everyone else are aware Marx, bals and I are ADMINISTRATORS along with Coolg. None of us are moderators and all of us work together and are at the same level of responsibility. Remember that as well when you try to call us out next time.

Yep...and this one will be shut down too if it's turned into another thread devoted to trying to one-up and out-insult each other.

Moreno's condition is of interest and this thread should deal with it. Let's not ruin it.

I'll take a wait and see approach with Moreno... hope he is healthy enough to help this season..

Heard there our 2 decent undrafted rookies who are playing ok, going to be interesting to see what happens. Orleans Darkwa and Damian Williams

Re: Moreno off PUP

Damien Williams, the Rook RB from Oklahoma, is ripping it up in Camp. We'll see if he does something of significance in the next exhibition game or two. I want to see what these guys can do when there is an opposing D that wants to rip their heads off.

I wonder if Atlanta is going to let Soliai loose? I think he was being misused here and I am interested to see him against Satele. Last time they faced off, Soliai knocked Satele's jock strap off in the win vs. Indi last year. He was all over Luck that game.
