Chatter says MIA could be a player for Andre Johnson

We have so many other needs, could they really be interested in bringing a 33 yo Top Tier Wideout home

He wants out of HOU, had a good year last year, I just don't see us adding to arguably our strongest unit

I agree, really dont need him. With Binns and the LSU kid, I think we need to let some of our young talent get a chance. We are good at WR.

Depends on what it would take to get him.
Even at 33, I would take Andre Johnson over Armon Binns.

I think everyone would take Andre over Binns.

I wouldn't take AJ+AJ's contract over Binns + Binns contract though.

So you are saying that if we can steal him for a 7th you would take him, but if you had to give up fair compensation, you wouldn't?  Or are you actually saying that if they ask for a #2 and something else, you would do it?

Call me crazy but Ill keep the compensation and the money needed to add him and just roll with Wallace, Hartline and Landry.  And yes Im saying Landry starts in the slot.  And Im saying he has a pretty decent year 1 and makes us forget that we liked Gibby last year, even though I told you guys that you would a day or 2 after we got him.  In last years draft, Landry is a 1st round pick.

Ill save the extra millions to spend on OL help...

so What  is going to happen with Gibson  and Mathews ?

look people Miami doesn't  have all that many of stars  and we need some more star power and now that king James has left Miami  we need a star that much more.  However  it doesn't matter to me  which position  they play.

Star power is overrated. Andre Johnson is a beast, but he's an aging beast. 33 years old? You don't pay top dollar and draft picks for a 33 going on 34 year old vet. Especially at a position where there is a lot of depth. Wallace, Hartline, Landry, Gibson, Matthews, Binns. That's a very solid group of WR's...

The money to sign Johnson, as was mentioned by Champ, could go towards bringing in O-Line or LB help which we have a need for still.

I said I would take Andre Johnson over Armon Binns.
Maybe that doesn't reflect the consensus here, but I'm sure it does everywhere else on the planet.

And I would take Aaron Rodgers over Pat Devlin.  What is ur point?   Oh wait...  I already touched on it.  You want AJ if you can get him cheap.  Just like I would want Rodgers if HE was cheap.

Cant EVER admit to getting caught, can you wanny?

Good one. LOL!
Dolphins probably not on Johnson's short list anyway.

Anything's possible though. How long can you hold a grudge when you're making millions?
Look at Lebron James and Dan Gilbert kissing and making up. Don't know if your an NBA follower and followed that saga.
I'm a rabid Miami Heat fan.

We couldn't even keep his name off of the Dolphins board?  Unreal.  My tv and radio have been off for days because all I want to hear about is sports and all II get crammed down my throat is that guy.  Hopefully now that its over, maybe I can hear about some NFL before the season starts.

No to Andre Johnson.   Aside from it not a position of need for this team right now, this team does not need to start becoming the Shady Acres retirement team for high priced aged players, again.   An Andre Johnson kind of move should be to a team who is one player away at the WR position from making a run.

That is not this team.  jmho noidea
