Re: Patriots up first

See you folks Week 17 again this year.

I absolutely love coming down for the game and getting out of the cold for a weekend.

You guys are great hosts.....I've been to 5 games in Miami over the years and I've never seen us lose yet.

Re: Patriots up first / 2014 Schedule

San Diego at home 1pm game is nice little bit of home field advantage for us. We won't have to go further west than Denver.

@Detroit indoors and @Chicago in October where it shouldn't be super cold yet. 3 of 4 games at home.

Outside of the week 5 bye I'm decently happy with this.

First game of the year and we get to see how we stack up to the Pat's. I like it. Nothing like jumping right into the fire in week 1. Here's how I predict our season to go:

10-6 and a playoff appearance!!!  I think playing in NYC at night will be a tough out for us, even though I think we are much better than the Jets. the Bills in Buffalo scare me as well. They swept us last season with a back up at QB, but at this point I think we beat them handily here and squeek one out on the road. NE we split with. Baltimore could go either way as could the Chicago game. I don't like the matchup of their two WR's against our 'diminutive' CBs, but on the flip side their D royally stinks so it's a toss up. I chose GB at home as a loss but we actually match up well against them so that could go either way as well. Denver is a loss in Denver and Detroit in Detroit for me is a tough matchup. We don't have a CB big enough to handle Megatron and with Golden Tate on the other side, I can't see our D being able to keep them off the scoreboard.

Re: Patriots up first / 2014 Schedule

Hope we get off to a fast start, New England game could swing both ways. We win and we could get off to a strong start, we lose and hopefully were not reeling the next 2 or 3 games....

Game like New England at home is why we need a strong running game... remember the no huddle they were running on us a couple years ago, the defense got wore out.. strong running game keeps our offense on the field and wearing out there defense... of coarse if we can run no huddle against them as successful as they did against us that would be good

Re: Patriots up first / 2014 Schedule

I do feel like we go into the bye 4-0 and what happens after that I don't know. Bills and Pats in Miami in Sept at 1 pm is brutal for those teams if we can sustain offensive drives and you know their dark jerseys will be on. If we don't beat Oakland I'll cry and IMO there's no way KC would have went anywhere last season without their cupcake schedule, so I feel 4-0 is reasonable but after that it all depends on how good or bad Tannehill and Wallace are combined with our new Oline and backs.
