Tim Tebow?

Tim Tebow?

Just playing! Its unforntunate for Tim that his fan base will probably be what keeps him from getting another shot on any team at any position. Sure we could bring him in to play FB or TE but the minute Tannehill has a bad game the Tebowians will start chanting and demanding he start at QB. What a weird ride. He comes in and somehow manages to get the Broncos into the playoffs and then actually wins a playoff game only to be defeated the next week by the devil himself Bill Belichek. Then traded to the Jets only to be shunned do to the love affair between Rex and Sanchez, now cut and who knows what's next.

I wondered if they thought about him as a #3QB if nothing else just to get more attendance   Jacksonville would be crazy to not do this.

Say what you want about the circus, it sure beats not having a team.

Someone posted the funniest comment regarding Tebow's release.

"Mark Sanchez threw a going away party for Tebow

But it was intercepted and run back for a TD"

Tebow can move into Skippy Bayliss' house where he has an entire shrine devoted to the most over-hyped athlete in American history.

Sorry Timmy....I dont hate you.  The media made me do it.

Now THAT IS COMEDY!!! hahahahahahahahaha.

Tebow would work in the CFL.  He was not and never will be an NFL caliber starting QB.  He caught lightning in a bottle in his rookie season, but it was obvious from the start that the kids throwing motion would be an issue.  the worst thing for his career was to go to the NY Jets.  That set his progress back to the point that he is no longer a viable back up option anywhere in the league.

Re: Tim Tebow?

I think the saddest thing for him is he is better then most backup QB's in this league if he didn't have the media following him around so rabidly i think he could land a job easily..  Hell Brady Quinn is still a backup QB in this league and he is garbage.

I think  he should go somewhere like New Orleans, Backup Brees whom no one will clamor for to be benched.. Then when he retires in a few years see what you got in tebow who may turn out to be kind of like Flutie, better as he ages.

IF Tebow goes anywhere it will be to a team with an entrenched starter already on the roster. Packers or Saints make sense

Re: Tim Tebow?

Unfortunately it is that media circus which hurts his chances of being an NFL Back up.  It's not his fault, but he has to bare the cross for it.  He's a good guy and I agree, if it were him just based on him he'd be a good back up, but its all the peripheral stuff that takes him out of the running for being an NFL QB.  No team really wants that distraction, other than the Jets...

He can wear Dolphins colors just like we do....as a fan.

Let it go FFA.  He is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat too much of a distraction for absolutely zero peoduction on the feild.  A 3ed string QB is NOT worth Tebow fans losing their everloving MINDS;

We had Harrington here and THOSE fans were batschitt CRAZY.  Anyone that was on the board here back then will remember.  Tebow fans would shut this boaed DOWN with thteir flood of nonsense.   AND....just think about the 1st time Tanny throws an INT;  Tebow cultists would storm the Bastille to get him in the game.  There would be sobbing and hangings;  Dolphins fans punching other Dolphins fans in the face.  ALL over a QB that NO ONE wants as a QB;

Hmmm passionate dolphin fans?  After years of watching half-empty stadiums I think I might like to see that some day.

RE: Tim Tebow?

No way is Tebow a QB but if he was willing to play h-back I think he would be worth a look.

Not sure what pay scale we would have to give him that would go a long way to determine if he does get another shot some where. Have to play for the minimum to even get a shot.

Put butts in the seats with starters who win games, not some circus act that is ONLY signed to get the media to talk about the team.  Thats like putting lipstick on a pig.  If the rest of the team is garbage,  Give me players that will see the field.  It would be a sad sad sad day if the people running this team got together and thought press clippings and a circus would win us games.

Listen....L'll give ANYONE a shot if it means wins.  But smoke and mirrors get you shredded when the smoke clears.  And in case you forgot, the shredder is in our division.  Barber is retired so hr cant funbke the bakk to GIVE Tebow a win.

Hocus pokus my arse.

Re: Tim Tebow?

I WISH he was still a Jet!!!  could you imagine the media shaitstorm there right now?  Tebow, Sanchick, and Geno 'wah wah' Smith?  That team is in trouble so long as Ryan is the coach and Sanchez is their starter.  I don't see G Smith replacing Sanchez this season either. Not until mid way through or something.

Re: Tim Tebow?

I don't think there was a more battered and beaten down draft pick then Geno Smith.

He may have zero leadership qualities and lack whatever intangibles scouts are looking for, but I'll tell you this: he put up crazy numbers and his video highlights featured some of this most accurate throws into tight windows that I've ever seen.

Personality wise : zero "Wow" factor but the guy can really chuck it.

Re: Tim Tebow?

Drew Rosenputz tweered that the "Dolphins may be liking Tebow".

That would be JUST the marketing move our worthless owner is looking for.  Just get butts in the saats no matter what.  Embarrass a fan base that have stuck it out theough all the nonsense he has rained down on this franchise.

Tebow fans are out of their minds and are a cult.  They will follow him blindly from team to team and cant be reasoned with.  They aleays bring up DEN but refuse to say a WORD about how their defense kept them in games for all but 3 mins when he played like arse.  They got games handed to them and the cult wont even debate it.

I dont hate the kid.  Dont know him.  I hate his fans and I hate Skip Bayliss.
